Actually someone added the words "at isang magnanakaw" to Libingan ng mga Bayani hehe

Couldn't sleep. Came across these. Turns out it's not just the Americans who've massacred Moros....with rape on the side:

Inquirer: Moros surface vs Bongbong Marcos, recall massacres
Mindanews: 1,500 Moro massacre victims during Martial Law honored

Strange the supporters of digong are attacking FVR for this article. Are they pro-marcos too?

I don't think so, but right now any criticism of Marcos is by extension a criticism of Digong, and a supporter of Digong going against his decision could make one look pro-Aquino.

Some are. But there are also those who are so unflinchingly pro-Duterte that they will brook no dissent.

This is the value Duterte preaches: Blind faith. Unquestioning submission to authority and authoritarian figures.

Look how he kowtows to China. To Trump. How he exhibits unquestioning faith in his police, even when the police themselves don't.

Breed a generation of people like that, and you have the perfect setting for the comeback of a dictator, in the future.

And here we see some colors appearing in the Senate.

Senate resolution vs Marcos burial fails approval | INQUIRER.net

Senate reso expressing sense vs Marcos burial fails approval
    By: Maila Ager - Reporter / *MAgerINQINQUIRER.net / 05:54 PM November 14, 2016

A resolution, expressing the sense of the Senate against the burial of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, has failed to get the approval of the chamber after only eight senators voted for it.

A majority vote of the 20 members present is needed to approve Senate Resolution No. 86, “expressing the sense of the Senate that the crimes of the former President Ferdinand Marcos to the Republic, and the human tights violations committed under his regime, render him unfit to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.”

The eight who voted to adopt the resolution are the following:

    Senator Bam Aquino
    Senator Leila de Lima
    Senator Franklin Drilon
    Senator Risa Hontiveros
    Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan
    Senator Grace Poe
    Senator Joel Villanueva
Senate President Aqulino “Koko” Pimentel III
The six senators, who voted against the resolution are:

    Senator Richard Gordon
    Senator Gringo Honasan
    Senator Panfilo Lacson
    Senator Manny Pacquiao
Senate Majority Leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III
    Senator Cynthia Villar
The six senators, on the other hand, who abstained are the following:

    Senator Sonny Angara
    Senator Nancy Binay
    Senator Francis Escudero
    Senator Sherwin Gatchalian
    Senate Minority Leader Ralph Recto
    Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri
It was Drilon, who moved to adopt the resolution, filed by Hontiveros. JE
On another note. Is it highly possible for FMJR and his cohorts to elevate the a call to DQ the entire LP slate for late submission of their election expenses?

That goes to show how weak the opposition is. Impeachment will not prosper and digong will have his way. ICC? CIA? Who knows. Can we ride this out for 5.5 more years?

Exactly. Just a while ago I was speaking with someone here at the office and my comment here is the opposition still doesn't have a clear, charismatic and strong leadership to unite.

Opposition is probably scared of his high popularity ratings and the way this admin is going after them. When public discontent gets higher (hopefully) it will empower the opposition.

Last 6 senators have no balls.

Let's ask Duterte why he didn't declare the "anonymous" donations he supposedly received through Ramos... (as per the speech where he claimed Ramos showed him the first drug list)

    -

Sad that legislators whom I'd otherwise admired in the past are turning out to be such suck-ups to the administration that they can't muster the balls to say no to anything Digong pushes.

Interesting are the abstentions. They're showing that they're not supporting the burial, but don't want to be identified with the minority. Sneaky, that, trying to play both sides, but many people will see it simply as approval for the burial.

So, is your AMLA BP back to normal levels already?

Well, we all know how important due process is for Duterte, so long as its in his favor that is...

It is clearly disappointing to see some lack the panache to clearly define themselves. As for others... well we can just roll our eyes forever on how some clowns are given the opportunity to step into the Senate.

BTW, wasn't it Pnoy also gave directive to resolve this FM burial issue? I recall he dispatched Binay to look into this matter and his recommendation was for a state burial in Ilocos, or something like that.
