By a vote of 9-5, the SC dismissed the petitions asking the court to block the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

It's a sad day for Martial Law HR victims.

Including the narcissistic murderer psychopath Duterte. I've never hated a politician as much as that person.

Masasabi ko lang: they'd better post guards over his grave 24x7 . . . hopefully not paid for by taxpayers

It seems that lessons from the past were never learned. I hope the decision stirs right thinking pinoys about what kind of legacy they want to leave for future generations.

I'd like to add, this country has really gone to the dogs. This SC decision is a new low in our history.

Can't seem to attach anything. Here's how the SC voting went:

    - Briones
    - Velasco
    - Peralta
    - Bersamin
    - Del Castillo
    - Perez
    - De Castro
    - Mendoza
    - Perlas-Bernabe

    AGAINST:
    - Sereno
    - Carpio
    - Leonen
    - Jardeleza
    - Caguioa

I feel like running AMOK and shouting P.I. (I don't even curse but I feel like imploding)

I can't even express my disgust in FB because of all the brainwashed dutertards (which includes the husband of my Mom's sister). Thank god there's tsikot where we only have a handful of dutertards.

Personally, the blame should not be placed on the SC Justices nor on DU30. If only there had been a law that prohibits Marcos from being buried there, walang issue. The thing is walang ganung batas. Remember the SC Justices are only interpreting the law and the executive is the one who implements.

Ang tanong, sino ba gumagawa ng batas? At kaninong control ang Congress for the past 30 years?

I hope the SC posts the caveat that no guards will be posted. I am really lookinh forward to defiling his tomb and remains.

For what it is worth, it has been decided. Now it is up to the people to interpret the wisdom of the SC through how they pay their respects to the strongman.
