Is this possible in our country especially when election automation becomes a success?

I am asking this because we have too many presidential candidates that the winner doesnt really get a majority vote.

By having a run-off election, we somehow imitate the selection process of the republican and democrats in the US. Not sure if that is a good analogy but I hope I convey my point.
