Si Abnoy mag meeting uli kay GP para pilitin mag VP ni Boy Pick-up. Si dakilang sipsip na Drilon sabi naman, Boy Pick-up can beat GP & Noggy in the presidential election.

So what are they courting GP for mga kupal na leaders ng LP. Come 2016, LP will be Lusaw na Partido.

    Aquino, Poe meet again

    Inquirer.net 05:47 AM June 11th, 2015

President Aquino and Sen. Grace Poe met again on Wednesday, but still reached no agreement on the lawmaker’s role in next year’s elections.

Poe told reporters that the meeting was held in Malacañang and it was clear to her after her talks with Aquino that the President was serious in looking for a candidate to support in the presidential election.

She said Aquino also invited her to “observe” his future meetings and asked her to be ready to pursue his reform program.

“He is probably considering me, but I don’t know for what position. We did not really talk about it,” Poe said.

    Continuity

She said the President did not tell her what to do or who to team up with, but appealed for the continuation of his programs.

“The President did not say that I should team up with someone, or do a certain thing—just to be ready, if ever, to hopefully continue the good practices that had been started,” she said.

Asked why the President asked her to join him in his meetings, Poe said it was likely because she had a lot of questions for him.

They will meet again, though no definite date has been set, she said.

    Open line

Poe said the President told her his line was always open.

She said there was no offer from the President for her to join the ruling Liberal Party. He discussed with her the LP’s process for selecting candidates, and told her that it followed a democratic process where every member has a voice, she said.

Poe said Aquino also mentioned that he would talk to Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

Poe is close to Escudero and she has said that she would be comfortable teaming up with him.

^^^ I am almost certain that it was for the Presidency.

However, makakalusot ba si GP sa qualifications? Nakakakita ba ang Malacanan ng dahilan para masabing qualified si GP (at mananalo ang argumentong ito)?

Kung wala,- and if my assumption is correct,- they are just wasting each other's time....

^ from all indications, they're now compartmentalizing things now, that is, leaving legal problems to their legal luminaries and politics to their politicians. the name of the game is-- winning.

LP should have second thoughts...especially with this survey from the leftist....

Grace Poe nearly ties VP Binay in latest poll survey
    June 12, 2015 2:50pm

Sen. Grace Poe has nearly tied Vice President Jejomar Binay in the latest presidential preference survey conducted by independent think tank IBON Foundation.

The IBON survey conducted from May 13 to 23, 2015 showed that 13.8 percent of respondents wanted Binay to be the next highest leader of the country while 13.7 percent of respondents preferred Poe.

Coming in third place was Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, who was preferred by 7.6 percent of the respondents.

IBON explained that the respondents were not given any names of potential candidates during the survey but were asked to name the person they preferred to be the next president.

The survey had 1,496 respondents. The IBON survey has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 3 percent.

While he has repeatedly stated that he has no plan of seeking re-election, President Benigno Aquino III landed in fourth place with 4.2 percent of respondents wanting him to remain in office.

Following Aquino in the ranking was his close ally and former running mate Interior Secretary Mar Roxas who was preferred by 3.8 percent of the respondents.

The IBON said among the issues when the survey was conducted were the corruption allegation against Binay as well as the mounting speculation that Poe will run for President.

GMA News' “Balitanghali” quoted IBON Foundation executive director Sonny Africa as saying that the results of poll surveys might change significantly once personalities file their certificates of candidacy.

Of the five personalities that topped the IBON survey, only Binay had confirmed running for President in 2016.

Poe and Roxas have yet to give a categorical answer on whether or not they will run for President.

Aquino and Duterte, meanwhile, have earlier denied any intention to run for the highest office, but the latter had a paid advertisement airing on television.

In the most recent surveys of Pulse Asia and Social Weather Stations, Binay, Poe, and Duterte were also the top three preferred personalities to become the next President. -NB, GMA News

I have a gut feeling that if its gonna be 1 on 1 Roxas vs binay, mar will win it this time. Last time he underestimated binay kasi he was concentrating on Loren, I don't think he will do the same mistake again. And this time I think the whole Araneta-Roxas family is going all in ala Cleveland. [emoji23]

^ that is true. the present administration should think twice who will be their standard bearer in 2016. Mar Roxas is a bureaucrat. He is not leader. A good leader is a dealer of hope. He is hopelessly lacking in that respect.

It will still be mar for LP. and I think he deserved it after sliding down last election. Winnable or not at least admin owe him that.

Best tandem is Roxas-Poe. Let Poe simmer first at the VP she's a sure win running VP. And after 6 years she's sync for the presidency.

    Patience is a virtue.

Even ERAP ran for VP first kahit na pwede na siya lumaban kay Ramos.

Let Binay and Roxas duke it out.

yes, you have a very good point and i admit and admire that. but, Mr. Roxas, the most qualified to become the next president of our country, can't rally enough numbers that he even lagged behind the president in that survey if the latter will run again, which is a constitutional impossibility. He is a very good public servant, yes; he served three presidents; had been secretary to several departments; was a congressman and a senator of the Republic, but for all of that, he is still at the tail end of the latest survey or any survey for that matter. if the presidency is destiny then, from all indications, he must not be destined to be.

But we all know survey is not the end of it all. Even Binay was lagging third during last election for VP.

And who will forget Manny Villar's presidential ran?

There are still many factors that can happen from now till Election Day that will change the dynamic of the situation. Specifically if the kingmakers and financiers firm up their support to a particular candidate. Right now, most of them are still in a wait and see position. But once they throw their full support to a particular candidate that's when we will see the the real fight.

Mar lost to Binay last time because of the Noy-Bi operation of Escudero and Pnoy's sisters. Escudero did not want Mar to become president because it will twart his plans to be in line for the presidency himself, and the Aquino sisters are all for Binay due to friendship with their mother. That is why the LP should make sure this time these 2, Escudero and Aquino sisters, are all sidelined and made inutil this time around. Kaya nga kahit anong papogi ngayon ni Escudero di siya pinapansin as possible VP for Mar.

The electorate should mature. We do that by giving them the right candidates, popular or not. Otherwise lets just do a survey.
