Sabi kasi ni tatang Enrile and the rest of the ever faithful, yung sperm daw buhay na daw. To deny it access to a egg is a sin...
The US has had *** Ed in public schools and contraception and family planning for decades.
Obamacare is mandatory (note... Wala kang choice) health insurance. Which is unconstitutional, but got passed, anyway. It's a completely separate issue.
Flavier's drive helped make condoms overground, but Family planning counselling was still stymied by huge resistance from the Church. There was a point where government health workers were NOT ALLOWED to even TALK about condoms. Talk about stone age...
And... Pharmaceutical companies don't make condoms. They make the pill. And as one lawmaker pointed out, if a contraceptive is found to be abortifacent or carcinogenic, it can be banned... Which has already happened to at least one contraceptive medication, already.
The RH Bill doesn't specify the exact kind of medicine or contraception to be used in the poverty alleviation program. That will be decided going forward by the DOH.
And... This bill will make such ordnances as the Alabang condom ban illegal.![]()
Next up in Alabang... Banning of seatbelt use. Because the false security given by seat belts promotes reckless driving. Sige nga... Prove nyo yan! :hysterical:

Well, well, well. Looks like some enlightenment happened in the Vatican recently:
Pope drops Catholic ban on condoms in historic shift: The Pope drops Catholic ban on condoms in historic shift - Telegraph
So today condoms, tomorrow pills, and the day after that, priests will be allowed to marry. Kawawa naman kasi yung mga anak nila. Lumalaki na walang "father."
Pardon hindi ko talaga ma-gets ... kung available mga OTC contraceptives, bakit kailangan pa ng RH law
For the government to rollout its population control program, with political will, meron bang magagawa ang RCNasa 100 million na tayo, kung 7000 lang nag-protest, thats minority
about 0.01% Hindi pwedeng i-sacrifice kapakanan ng 99.99%. Kung target eh 100% agreement, wala ngang mauuimpishang programa pag ganyan
Since government funded, sa taxes natin ito kakainMeron ba tayong magagawa
Kung overall makakatulong sa bansa, then go suportahan nating lahat

Precisely the point ... bakit ang mga tax payers ang magpondo sa kakatihan ng mga walang magawa kundi gumawa ng mga bata :obvious: Kontra ako not due to religion but purely because of financial ... for me, my family and buong Pinas
Ayon sa wikipedia Reproductive Health Bill - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
While there is general agreement about its provisions on maternal and child health, there is great debate on its key proposal that the Philippine government and the private sector will fund and undertake widespread distribution of family planning devices such as condoms, birth control pills (BCPs) and IUDs, as the government continues to disseminate information on their use through all health care centers.
Seriously... Jail the father? You'd have to find the father first. Know anything about the lives of the poor? Where partners get together, separate after a few kids then go on to the next partner and have a few more? A lot of families are made up of dozens of siblings and half-siblings by different parents. Where do you set the limit? 3 per partner? 3 total? without formal records or marriage licenses, how will you keep track? All you'll be doing is limiting the middle class and the rich, who we WANT to have more kids.
China's one child policy doesn't work. And it's biting em in the butt, because urban middle class families who can afford to educate their kids are having less, and the rural poor who can't afford kids are having more. So there's still population growth, and a distinct lack of technically trained people.
China's current (shaky) economic dominance is because they used to have a massively underdeveloped domestic market which is just now maturing and a massive industrial base thanks to low labor costs due to the underdevelopment of the domestic economy. But the Chinese machine is slowing down. Their economy is not completely sustainable without a strong export market.
The proper way to curb growth is to directly target the poor. The rich and middle class already use contraception and/or family planning. This allows more poor people to raise their income level through higher education.

never was a fan of number coding. the idea was to ban a car from major roads on a certain day of the week. it's been out since 1996, but has it solved anything? poor implementation of traffic rules, potholed roads, too-high concentration of traffic in the metro remain unaddressed. it's a stopgap. plus many of us kept at least 2 cars, anyway.
rh bill's a stopgap. money would be better spent on livelihood training, basic services for all, building of schools, creation of work opportunities in underutilized areas, housing projects, cracking down on corrupt officials and tax evaders. you'd retard population growth, but sooner or later, it will keep up. why attack population, when the focus should be on solving problems at the root, which is in most part, corruption.
so many anti-catholic groups resorting to attacking persons rather than issues. wonder what their real intentions are.![]()
Pede ba yung implementation ng RH Bill is something you can opt out legally? You are asacred catholic and dont want your children learning *** education, fine, they can skip *** ed class and there will be no consequences on his academic grades. You dont want to use artificial contraceptive, thats ok. You are a leader of a church and dont want your followers follow RH Bill, thats ok preach it to your congregation.
On the other hand, let those who want RH Bill have them. Live and let live ika nga.
Saying that not passing the law will save money ignores the fact that we already spend a crapload of money on family planning counseling that doesn't work, already. As well as all the money we spend on relocation for squatters, food programs, public education for all those children, social services for abandoned kids and etcetera. Any program that aims to curb the need for other programs saves money in e long run.
That's why people should read it.
You can opt NOT to provide artificial contraceptives as a health worker, as long as you tell people where they can get them.
You can opt NOT to use artificial contraceptives. The law just mandates that health providers inform you of ALL your choices.
You can opt NOT to have your child educated about reproductive health in school.
The only option you don't have is abortion. The bill reaffirms the total ban on abortion.
