Grabe ang mga post nga mga tao dito.

Hindi siguro iniexpect ng ABS-CBN ang reaction ng mga tao. Nag post ulit sila 3 times pero ganun parin ang mga comment.

honestly people have no respect i'm not pro cory but not anti also. do i think she deserves the praise abs thinks she does? i don't. but does she deserve to be disrespected like that, no. at her term i wasn't really old enough to understand what was really going on but i don't think she really made a huge impact in our country, marcos as bad as his term went played a huge role on our country but don't get any attention like this.

The reasons our country could not move forward then was:

    1) Cory had a lot of enemies who wanted to bring her down - RAM boys, Marcos loyalists, leftists, Muslim separatists.

    2) When democracy was restored, militant unions came back and crippled companies.

Haha. Ang owner ng company namin, cory loyslist, after mawala mga marcos, naging Sec ng isang office sa govt. Ngayon sideline, writer sa business section ng isang newspaper.

    Genious boy!

And just to add, no money. Imagine inheriting a bankrupt and baon-sa-utang government with people expecting immediate results.

People may have differing opinions about how the Cory government was but there is no place for the disrespect given.

Let's face it. It was Ninoy who really fought for us. Cory, Noynoy their families and friends just benefitted politically and economically from what Ninoy did.

true. kaya marami sigurong dissatisfied kay cory back then pero they failed to look at the fundamentals of our economy back then. did the IMF step in before? syempre drastic measures yun.

No IMF. But the country had to prioritize settling its debts so that they could still borrow.
