At the time of Gibo's transfer to Lakas, it was Noli who was the leading candidate of the party. Gibo was not popular and fare poorly compared to the national prominence of the other presidential aspirants.

I think it was a leap of faith on the part of Gibo to leave his mentor-uncle's comfort zone and slug it out in Lakas as neophyte. Medyo iba rin yung lakas-loob nung tao at at mataas din ang self-confidence.

Kung sa pera lang naman, Danding has more than what the Lakas party can offer.

^^ i think it was a grand plan from the start (with Danding in the midst of it). Why would Danding gamble on Gibo via NPC when Gibo could get as well admin's resources (and Danding discreetly supporting him)?

That could be the reason why NPC is not "openly" supporting a candidate (the reason why chiz bolted NPC may be because of this scheme).
