i believe so... they do not have a united position on the separation of the church and the state. Maraming pari dyan mas matindi pa pumapel sa politika kesa sa politiko. nakakawalang respeto.

pag kasi sinabi mong simbahan, di naman ibig sabihin non e exempted kana makialam sa mga nangyayari outside the church.meron din silang rights na mag air ng opinion nila as citizens of the phils diba.parang sa mga pulis, outside the precint common tao lang yan pero pag nasa presinto sila ang incharge.then sila andyan sa simbahan para magbigay ng guidance na pwedeng sundin or not.nasa individual yan kung papaapekto sila sa nangyayaring pakikialam ng mga pari.

could be. turn-off na ang masyadong politicized clergy. minsan ang policies pa ng church masyado nang antiquated at inflexible. makes me think that some of the old fogeys of the church are caught in a time warp

Yes. Last simba ako ang dami lumabas sa simbahan kasi politics ang semon ng pari. Hindi lahat ganon pero madalas yung mga "media priest" iba na ang tinuturo sa bayan.

The Church and the State seem to be inevitably interwind that policies are hard pressed to be implemented if it has some objections from the church.
How come our church here is more powerful in our politics than the vatican is to Italy.
