We're in this rut because intelligent voters are always overpowered by stupid voters.
Catch-22 din kasi ang Anti-Dynasty law na yan. Dapat merong separate body na mag-dedecide ng mga ganito na contrary sa interests ng mga subject ng law. In this case, the politicians.

Did we really expect these politicians to say "Yes, we think it's wrong to make our wives/sons/daughters/brothers/sisters run for public positions while we are in power"?

Aquinos still has this "utang na loob" with JPE, had it not been because of Military's backing up sa EDSA revolution it wouldn't be as successful as it was.. I still wonder if who really did order the hit on Ninoy...
Well, JPE's son has been very supportive sa motorcycling community and they would be there to support his quest for senate seat.

magandang panoorin yung JPE memoirs sa ANC kahit na you dont trust all that was said in JPE's book
