Those photos were taken by a personal friend of mine.

My take, well, as a Catholic, eh talaga naman pambabastos ito. Pero gaya ng sabi ni GH, wala na tayong magagawa dyan dahil government naglagay niyan. Pero sana man lang, maisip nilang sagrado ang tatlong krus na yan sa lahat ng Christians. Konting respeto lang naman...

No, you cannot blame tourists for doing what tourists normally do, take photos of themselves with the object(s) of interest.

You cannot blame people if they do not see any harm in what they are doing because they are TOURISTS who may or may not share your faith or religious beliefs.

IF there is anyone to blame here, it should be the local government who installed the Holy Week tourist spot in the first place. They failed to place someone in charge of the location to give and explain the significance of the site for the season to the visiting tourists.

If we are down to quoting quotes:

    Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Trivia: The cross was also a pagan symbol.

    Crucified Bacchus

This unusual amulet dates from the third century AD. It is intended as a magical charm, and depicts a crucified figure of the wine god Bacchus.

According nga dun sa mga poster sa ibang forum eh mas malaswa pa nga daw si Jesus dahil halos wala na syang damit nung pinako sya sa Cross.

Kung di ba naman sila mga utak tungaw.

If the tourist thinks na she's free to do what she wants, then expect free backlash also. Ganon lang talaga ang buhay, di naman siguro lahat ng bagay eh sige na lang.

    Recent na yan.

Go back to 519 BC and learn the use of Crucifixion.

I think na those people na nagpakuha ng weird pictures on the Cross were also Christians. We do all know that the Cross is the most significant symbol for all Christians, especially RC. Ignorance here is not an excuse. Automatic na dapat yan na ito at sacred. You may take pictures pero di mo dapat ito bastusin, like what that girl did.

Should the government be blamed? Yes. Dahil nga wala silang notice na nilagay doon na this is ganito ganyan. Now that the church has spoken na ang mga nagpapapako o nagpepenitensya ay bawal, the local government should now enforce an ordinance na bawal na ang mga ganung gawain.

Should the girl not be blamed? No. Sabi ko nga, as a person, automatic na dapat yan. No need for warning signs na this is ganito ganya.

Does the ignorance of the girl (baka kasi di niya alam na ito ay sacred) should be an excuse? No.
