...may never happen in my lifetime...Thailand is the 2nd ASEAN country (after Singapore) to have a fully digitized road map available to everyone with an internet access...try zooming in/out using the mouse scroll or using the zooming navigator and you'll see what i mean....

i joined the forum even before the owner of this site started opening the forum to the public, it was an underground forum then

seriously...i think it's a bug that no one among the moderators and even the administrator can fix at the moment.

OT na pero: that just shows that your record in the database got screwed a while back. most probably ibig sabihin nyan NULL or empty yung join data field mo sa database. happens sometimes pag nagpapalit ng versions ng forum. unrecoverable na yung original join date mo.

    para hindi OT:
kaya din gawin dito yan. nobody just wants to do it. yet.

Talaga?

Kaibahan may national will. At military training. Tayo kaya?

Er... you are basing your argument by requiring a country to have a fully digitized road map?

i am quite sure meron na tayong digital maps ng pinas. just asked the experts on geographic informations systems.

ang problem ay wala tayong consolidated map or individually owned ang maps kasi ndi yan shini share ng GIS experts unless may bayad. they use it in their rakets, consultancy, etc. pinaghirapan at pinagkagatusan kaya ndi pwede libre :D

There's an undergoing effort from private individuals with GPS devices to put together a digital road map for the entire Philippines using the Garmin format. Hindi ko lang ma-access yung email ko now, I'll post the website here later.

    Agree rin with shadow's input....

i have come across a gps setup (ung nagsasalita)...tingin ko kahit na merun biglang one way or basketball court dun sa daan (na supposed to be ay passable) hindi magiging hadlang...kasi if you turn on another road, ireredirect ka lang naman nung gps until you reach the destination.

it would be just like doing a detour.

i think we would have one (gps guided map) running in 6 months time...the question is how much kaya ang ganitong system.

Try roaming around Sampaloc.

digital road map? or in-car gps navigation? here in the Phils?!

here? in the wild wild west of philippine roads?

traffic flow change without notice. roads close without notice.

    pag fiesta sarado kalsada

    pag lamay harang kalsada

Have you looked at the maps here?
    http://www.mapcentral.ph/mapcentral/...?event=MapHome

It's the most complete street-level digital road map of the Philippines that I've seen so far, though understandably there are a lot of unidentified minor streets. The site has a search function, but no routing function.

Philippines catching with Thailand?
