OFWs has “ placed” seneres in that position discerning that he can protect any interest they might have.
putting additional requirement for the renewal of ofw's passport would mean that he’s not giving back any favor at all.
i agree that some are consciously depriving the needs of their own family for non-remittance but it's not right that you shall apply your proposal across the whole OFW community.
think smarter next time, and expecting from you a bill that will give benefit instead of slapping another bureaucratic scheme that can cause distress to us

me tatak sa passport.
and yung mga registered OFWs me mga resibo ng OWWA karaniwan ini-attach sa
passport (pero pwede naman tanggalin).
saka 5 years validity ng PH passport - so taon din bibilangin bago
magrenew.

agree to this or file a bill that passport pages shall be increased as it was before.
IIRC, currently this is my 3rd passport renewed before its expiry date.

I subscribe to the wisdom on Rep. Seneres and i think this will be a deterrent to philandering husbands/wives abroad---for them to ponder the consequence(s) of their indiscretion. After all, the family plays a vital role in nation-building..my ten cents worth..
that may be, but we all got plastic, young and old. we asked the lto guy, "papel ba po, o...
