hmm not sure whether this is in the BIR's jurisdiction. afaik taxes only apply only if you do work/business/make money here in PH.

imho the government should be kissing the *$$es of OFWs. If not for them a lot more people would not have money, no education, etc. They feed their families so the government doesn't have to further squeeze the working class for more money.

And that supposedly "strong peso" we have? Who do you think is raking in US$'s for PH? Exports? Yeah, export of human resources

Yung mga smarter higher paid OFWs (some called them expats), kahit anong gawin ng POEA/BIR, di mahahabol yan.

But seriously, passport is a basic right of every Filipino. So I don't think papasa to sa supreme court.

OFWs are tax exempt sa Pinas as one of their privilage. Some pay their taxes on their host country depending on the income bracket.

parang sablay itong bill, or maybe because im not an OFW kaya di ko maintindihan. ano ba kaibahan ng passport ng OFW vs pinoy tourist?

This is illegal and even tantamount to blackmail.

The proposed bill simply reflects the kind of IQ of the person who wrote it.
