Hindi na si GMA ang gagamit nyan. Next president na makakagamit nyan lalo ng mga helicopters.

    from the article above:
The aircraft must be “factory new, twin-engine (turbo-fan engines), pressurized, fitted with auxiliary power unit, and with VIP cabin configuration," said an advertisement.

“The type of aircraft to be offered should have been used as a VIP/Executive aircraft by the country of origin and by at least two countries," the ad continued.
based on the description, i'm guessing the presidential jet will come from one of these 3 jet aircraft manufacturers:

    Gulfstream (US)
    http://www.gulfstream.com/products/

    Embraer (Brazil)

    Dassault (France)

Ayusin muna ang kalagayan ng mga trabaho rito sa atin, para may kinikita ang mga tao rito (at hindi na napipilitang umalis ng bansa....)

yep tingin ko din G550 is the best candidate

another jet aircraft manufacturer na pwede pagpilian is Canada's Bombardier

There must be a reason for this. There is ABSOLUTELY no way that GMA, a person greedy to the bone, is doing the succeeding presidents a favor.

Obvious reason. Once the funds is earmarked and released, major chunks of it suddenly finds it way into certain private bank accounts.

I have been checking out some web based ads for used large airplanes. Given the P1.2B budget, it's overpriced against what I already saw.

    Example 1:

    1990 AIRBUS A320
    Price: US $10,500,000 (PHP 525M)
    Location: CA, US

    Details: For Sale - $10,500,000, 46700 TT; IFR; 162 Seats; A-320 with Fresh HMV and Gear OH's. 6000CYREM engines, EU Specs. Nice!;

    Example 2:

    1990 BOEING 767-300ER
    Price: US $12,000,000 (PHP 600M)
    Location: CA, US

Details: For Sale - $12,000,000, 99333 TT; 8000 SOH / 15000 SOH; 274 Seats; FANTASTIC B-767-300ER Value. Fresh from service, needing Inspections and gear overhauls now.
