I think the good Filipino people have finally wised up to the fact that they were used, both in the past and today, as pawns.

Seeing that there is no end to this vassalage, they have finally chosen the wiser route of seeking prosperity, pending the emergence of a real patriot.

A good president is hard to come by. Parang pagkuha din ng katulong yan. Swertehan na lang. Pero sa kamalasan, lahat ng nagiging pangulo ng pilipinas eh may pinupukol na controversiya..

GMA is self-destructing due to her moral depravity
and pervasive greed by her minions.

But she is one lucky bitch and will most probably
last her term till 2010.

The people's apathy will see to that. The middle
class is tired of people power - after all, who
do you replace her with?

The current crop of politicians are ferocious
predators and we may be worse off than
the present hell we're in right now.

Actually, in the parliamentary form of government, this is the norm.

Lahat naman talaga pag palpak, ang sisi dapat nasa Prime Minister (since in the parliamentary form, the President is merely a figurehead with limited powers). Ako simple lang naman ang hiling ko. Magpakulong siya ng corrupt at wag bigyan ng pardon, para maramdaman kong sincere siya. Eh kaya lang yung malakas mangurakot, free as a bird (e.g. Nani Perez, Abalos, Erap, Jocjoc Bolante, etc.)
