II don't think all the other presidents that came thereafter, can equal the leadership qualities and genius of Ferdinand Marcos. He is the last true leader of the Philippines ever to hold office at Malacanang. Everyone else that followed, has been an anomaly.

if ever a person/politician reaches or achieves such a status, then everbody else will automatically become underdogs. and we pinoys are suckers for the underdogs.

By Marcos' second term, he was already a shadow of his former sane self. He had become paranoid and power-hungry, thanks to the prodding of Imelda. Marcos may have set the standards of leadership according to you, but he was also the one who eroded those very standards.

I joined and was part of the People Power 1 twenty years ago. Nothing has changed. The politician during the time of people power 1 are the same corrupt politician we have now, therefore do not expect any progress in our country.

let us not cheapen what they achieved during edsa 1.my dad & my wife's dad were there risking their lives in front of tanks and then 20years later some careless remark accusing them of getting paid for their patriotism comes about in a medium we're free to enjoy in part due to their sacrifice
