Another attack, another round of promises to catch the ones who did this and make them pay ... Then another round of protests about freedom and invasion of privacy.
this event should give chill to PNP who is in charge of coming APEC. it will be a hell week for them next week. they should ask for more augmentation from the army.

france failed to catch the cache of ammunitions snuck into their borders then there must be something wrong here
AK47 being the prefered weapon in this attack is not an easy weapon to source out in france. for the perpetrators to mount this attack, the covert entry of these weapons was brillantly executed

this is the time that the whole civilized world will condemn this dastardly act.
and this is the time, rather than engage in useless bickering because some of us are inconvenient of the security arrangement brought about by the apec summit, we trust our security forces who know exactly what they are doing.
this is what happened if people become so lax about security.
do we need another paris in manila?
If you didn't see this coming while this is happening months ago...
in germany
in netherlands
in spain
and of course, let's not forget france
still gonna insist on political correctness?

Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
Europe as we know it will be no more, for years christianity is on the decline there, now you let the islamist in droves, in a few years there will be mosques, lots and lots of them, widespread discontentment will cause the europeans to create a new and legal Nazi party. Dark times ahead

Hahaha, just a show of strength, to save face, russia has and china has a foothold already, and why only now? Its his foreign policies that lead up to this, iraq, gaddafi, benghazi, syria, using the cia trained isis to distabilized the whole region. Btw, most of these things happened when clinton was sec of state.

That is what we are going to witness in a few years to come.
They are so blind, they thought they are doing the right thing, a humanitarian gesture. It will backfire to them. These group have no intention to live amongst them but rather to conquer, and when they have the numbers, they will insist their laws.
And the europeans will be outcast to their own lands.
The EU love for muslims. Well good luck opening your borders and letting mosques pop up like mushrooms.

PNoy convenes Cabinet security cluster following Paris attacks
Saturday, November 14, 2015 4:11PM
President Benigno Aquino III on Saturday convened the Cabinet security cluster following the deadly attacks in Paris.
"President Aquino wanted to ensure that all our preparations are in place and all contingencies have been planned for," Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte said, referring to the government's security preparations for the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting (AELM) next week.
"As he said, it is better to be over prepared then caught under prepared," she added.
Valte said that the meeting was held at Bahay Pangarap.
Present in the meeting were Executive Secretary Pacquito Ochoa, Interior and Local Government Secretary Mel Senen Sarmiento, Defense chief Voltaire Gazmin, National Security Adviser Cesar Garcia and Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Ricardo Marquez.
Earlier, Valte said the PNP went on full alert nationwide following the attacks, which left more than 100 people dead and dozens injured.
Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) spokesperson Restituto Padilla said in a statement that the military raised its alert level for the AELM from blue to red.
"The alert status was also raised a day ahead of schedule as a matter of procedure following any international terrorist incident such as this morning's terrorist attacks in Paris," Padilla said.
Padilla added that the military and the police are "now seriously looking into this incident" as they upgrade the security preparations for the AELM.
Hundreds of flights have been affected due to the expected arrival of economic leaders are early next week in Manila.
The AELM will held in Pasay City from November 18 to 19, which have been declared as special non-working days.
Valte earlier said that security plans for the AELM are being improved due to the attacks in Paris.
"Our security establishment is already monitoring the situation that is happening and that we will be taking the necessary steps to fine-tune, as necessary, our security plans and our contingency plans for the hosting," Valte said.
Aquino, earlier, said in a separate statement that there are no credible threats so far in the Philippines.
"The PNP is on alert and our security forces are assessing the situation, including the continuing evaluation of our security procedures. There is no credible threat registered at this time but let us all be cooperative and vigilant," he said. —ALG, GMA News
