Ang kita na lang cguro ng senatong eh dun sa mga lobbyist but then again, you have to have brain in order to lobby.

Not even his "born against" brother can carry him to the senate hall.

Same cannot be said sa masa sa ibang parte ng pinas, na ina idolize ang "hero" nilang boksingero/basketbolista.

Hahaha...the same people who pushed him out of Forbes. The same people who rejected his Manila Golf Club membership application. The same people who dare not talk to him.

    AMEN to that, bro.

Because your line of work is professionalized.

Elected officials are not professionalized. They are popular choices,- and everyone can run, meeting only the barest minimum of qualifications.

Talking about professionalism in goveremnt, how do you professionalize the goverment when the requirement for the leader is not even at the minimum?

Qualifications prescribed by law for public elective positions in the Philippines are continuing requirements and must be possessed for the duration of the officer’s active tenure. It is the Philippine Congress which has the power to prescribe additional qualifications and disqualifications.

The following is a simple list of the pertinent qualifications required for public elective positions in the Philippines:

Qualification for Philippine President and Vice-President:
    1. natural born citizen of the Philippines
    2. registered voter
    3. able to read and write
    4. at least 40 years of age on the day of election
    5. resident of the Philippines for at least 10 years immediately preceding the election.

    In the contrary,

Requirements for Security Guard License for New Applicants :

    a. SAGSD Form with 2x2 Picture (Original)

    b. General Knowledge Examination Result (GKE)

    c. Training Certificate / College Diploma

    d. Closing Report / Transcript of Records / Firing Certificate

    e. Neuro Psychiatric Clearance

    f. Drug Test Result

    g. NBI Clearance

    h. DI Clearance

    i. Police Clearance

    j. Court Clearance

    k. Barangay Clearance

    l. Birth Certificate

    m. S/G Badge

Now , ever wonder why the filing of CoC is a circus

Buti pa yung security guard, at least College Diploma , Neuro Psychiatric Clearance(dito bagsak si Abnoy) at sangkaterbang clearance specially court clearance.
