1.45/L rollback for gasoline!
That rollback will vaporize very soon. Saudi invaded Yemen.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
Kung tumaas man ang price.. Sa diesel it won't break the 31peso per liter price.. Mura pa din... IMO tataas ng kunti then will stabilized to 25-27pesos per li again..
Looks like I filled up at a good time.
Just got a full tank sa Shell near Las Pinas Doctors. 36.55/L for Nitro+, 38 something for Racing. 34 something for FuelSave.
Akala ko nung una sira lang yun 7-segment display sa pump coz I was expecting nasa 38 or higher pa ang Nitro+.
Huge jump in crude. 23% since last week and we havent seen the gasoline price hike yet.
Let's not confuse crude prices with refined products prices. StockEngine is right, crude has shot up these past few days. However, these aren't automatically reflected in the prices of refined products.
As a refresher:
- We use Brent and WTI as our benchmark for crude oil prices. This is publicly available information that's updated in real-time, much like stocks.
- We use MOPS (Mean of Platts Singapore) as our benchmark for refined oil prices. This is usually available only to petroleum clients, and is updated only daily. This is where I see the price trend for the coming week as early as today.
- Our price changes are based on weekly averages. This is why we still had a rollback even if the last 2 days of trading last week saw an increase in crude prices. This is because the first 4 days posted a huge decline in prices.
Now, as for the price trend next week, unfortunately for end-users, the price hike in crude has already been reflected in the finished products market, and we expect an increase of about P1.15 for gasoline and P1.40 for diesel. This can change as the week progresses, but it's unlikely to reverse into a rollback.
Most likely Tuesday. Never pa atang nagkaprice increase na maaga. Usually rollback lang ang inaagahan.
Great Fall of China = Oil price Fall
I thought it was a fluke at first but their hunger for oil slowed hopefully their economy never wakes up again.
Did I just see a mistaken figure earlier sa gas stations or is it true that there was a price increase in fuel earlier today?
Thanks jut03 for the confirmation and advise, I must need another refraction for my eyes, hehe
