    Usually gas yung malaki increase.
Sorry, tamad akong mag backread at google as of this writing.
Ma remember ko lang sa previous usapan ng thread na ito is malaki consumo ng china sa diesel since it is currently used to fuel the generators due to electricity shortage.

    iba iba factors

pero there's one factor that's really important

may energy crisis sa Europe coz genius sila they boycott russian natgas

so now they're buying energy from everywhere including asia

LNG that's meant for asia is being diverted to europe

there gas to oil switching (natgas shortage means use oil instead to produce electricity) like diesel generators

so european demand for diesel is driving up the price of diesel in asia

A liter of diesel uses a lot more crude oil in comparison to gasoline. It's a more energy-dense fuel (meaning more hydrocarbons per unit volume) which is why diesel vehicles get so much better fuel economy to begin with.

One 42 gallon barrel of crude oil will produce 11-12 gallons of diesel, and about 20 gallons of gasoline.

So when crude is up, diesel is way up.

Biden mad at Saudi Arabia for acting in their own economic self-interest (cutting oil production), while turning a blind eye to the Fed's constant interest rate hikes wrecking havoc on the rest of world economies.

US democrats are mad at saudi arabia cutting production coz they see it as siding with/cooperation with russia

timing of production cut weeks before US midterm election -- to make US gasoline price rise to harm democrats chances of winning

inflation/high gasoline price is a major issue for american voters

    kaya ganun kagalit sila biden

i posted many times in this thread the correlation doesn't always work

refined products have their own prices (determined by several factors hindi lang cost of crude oil)

Asia diesel margins rebound on tight supplies, robust Europe demand | Reuters

SINGAPORE Oct 7 (Reuters) - Asian refiners' margins from producing 10ppm gasoil rebounded more than 40% on Friday from a week ago as supplies fell during seasonal refinery maintenance, while traders focused on robust demand in Europe, industry sources and analysts said.

Europe is importing more diesel amid heavy refinery maintenance and a workers' strike at refineries in France, they said. The region's strong demand is expected to last throughout winter as some users are switching to oil from gas after Moscow cut supplies to Europe while the European Union will ban seaborne Russian oil products imports next February.
btw, gasoil is an oil industry term for products between kerosene and lubricating oil

    diesel somewhere in the middle

europe needs to import energy from elsewhere and they're willing to pay good price

previously mas mura dito sa Asia and traders saw arbitrage opportunity

buy energy in Asia and sell to Europe for big profit

    kags is always disappointed,
when the price increase of gasoline outstrips that of diesel,
and when the price rollback of diesel is greater than that of gasoline.

diesel is widely used in Europe -- heavy machinery, transportation, farming, fishing, power, heating etc

that clinton was saved from impeachment,
