i can probably do better than 13/li, if i were falling off a cliff. heh heh.
same figures I'm getting on my City CVT
(Although I can get 20km/l in NLEX/SCTEX if I try really hard )

but I can't load 8 people on my car

gone are the days when our diesel FX was significantly more economical to use that our 3rd Gen Lancer

    IMO... diesel vs gas

last chance na natin siguro ito to own/drive a diesel passenger vehicle.

malamang last few versions na itong engines na nakikita natin.

I remember tuloy asking my dad nung bata pa ako kung bakit ang ingay ng makina ng Gemini taxi compared sa Cortina namin

yes, Toyota can use the GD engine for 2-3 more generations of the Fortuner... pero it will still be an old engine in a new body.

Don't forget that diesel is being used by majority of the PUV.
Mag rally lang mga Groupo ng Jeepney at Buses and the gov't will be forced to find ways to lower the price of diesel.
Kung mag shift lang majority ng PUV sa electric then i think hindi magyayari ito.

this is why the gov't decided to provide fuel vouchers.

if they remove the tax on diesel, a lot luxury car owners will also benefit.

ito naman ang magiging problema when governments subsidize fuel

    lumalaki expenses ng gobyerno

    there's no free lunch

you only transfer burden from private to public sector

    there's no easy solution talaga

ginarahe ko na yung gasoline car namin; the tank is running on reserve.
i hope the waiting for gas-up next week, is the good decision.
