Brent crude surges to above $85 a barrel for first time since 214 - The Globe and MailWith about 1.5 million barrels per day of Iranian oil expected to go offline on Nov. 4, prices could “rocket higher with the flashy $100 per barrel price tag indeed a reasonable-sounding target,” he said.
re P60 gas and when will we see less cars
i think the middle class is strong enough to take P60 or P70 gas so i don't think we're gonna see less cars yet
Never more thankful we have an all-diesel garage than during times like this...

Last nag 60 per liter ang gasolina, di ko ginamit yung Nissan Cefiro. For a mere 30km Eh halos 500 pesos one way ko.
Kelangan at least dalawa kame sakay para sulit gaso.

I agree, mukhang mas resilient middle class ngayon kaya madami pa rin gumagamit sasakyan.
Problem dito yung ripple effect, all levels of business transactions sa basic goods magpapatong yan to augment costs. Hindi pare-pareho mag-compute mga yan kaya gross addition sa price mas malaki sa dapat lang itaas. Yan problema dyan eh. tsk tsk
Ang problema nyan, and you have to brace for this, the car loving commuters na di kaya ang ganyan kataas na presyo, but need private transportation, will shift to motorcycles and scooters. Ok sana yan, kung they have proper riding education. Dadame aksidente sa kalye nyan.

Mass transport system talaga.
Kung ako lang, monopolyo ang bus at ang jeep. Government owned lahat. Tapos tren.
Ang problema, mga private owners ng transport companies, mga politiko rin. Or malakas mag lobby sa gobyerno. Kaya wala.
No choice ang public. Kaawa awang Pilipino. Hangga't may tatsulok. At sila ang nasa tuktok...

10 years ago when the fuel crisis hit. i had 2 cars
99 crv gas, 07 santa fe. I remember those weeks na halos 2 weeks hinde na lumabas sa garahe crv ko,
Now a decade later i still have the santa Fe hihi, i was so happy with that car back then coz it is so tipid.
Now dejauv na nman and my santa fe is still here to weather another fuel crisis.
Maybe thats why I never sold it coz i felt that another economic crisis will happen.
Brace yourselves folks ang susinod na tataas eh fully synthetic oil. Glad that my SF is not picky as the diesel cars of today na kelangan synthetic, back then alam ko pumalo ng P800 per liter ang FS oil sa banawe , what more sa casa baka P1200 per liter na
Those diesel PPVs like the Montero, Fort, TBZ saka nakupo Everest using expensive 5w30 expect higher PMS.
isizu Mux and malamang Nissan Terra wont be affected, coz I researched Nissan Navarra hindi maselan sa oil, maybe thats why I want that car too
Gawing 10k kaya ang mineral bago change oil?
