Last edited by shadow; February 11th, 2011 at 02:13 PM.

^^^ They can't charge exorbitant fees, though.

as it is, madami tao pumupunta sa mall, puno lagi ang mga parking
so it's clear people are not discouraged by mall parking fees

The best they could do sana is tanggalin yung "The management shall not be responsible of losses or damages", so parang sinasabi na "park at your own risk" yun. Kaya nga nagbabayad para may peace of mind eh.

This is veeeery old news.
Naku, may senate hearing pa nga dati yan eh, headed by Enrile.

As much as I would like to support such a move, I think it is stupid to ask for free parking in commercial establishments like malls.

if the mall will be made responsible for loss or damage sa mga vehicles, sobra baba ang amount ng current parking fees
in order to hedge against having to pay for losses or damages to vehicles parked within their premises, mall owners will have to buy insurance.
they will then pass the cost of premiums to those who park in their premises
how much does it take to insure, say, 5000 cars?
how much in monthly premiums does a mall owner have to pay an insurance company?
Choice I would have made as well.
