January 10th, 2016 01:09 AM #22Merkel backs expelling refugees with suspended sentences too
"If a refugee flouts the rules, then there must be consequences, that means that they can lose their residence right here regardless of whether they have a suspended sentence or a prison sentence," she said.
But public opinion has tipped towards backing tougher action against criminal migrants following the Cologne attacks.
Cologne police chief dismissed over New Year's Eve assaults
However, an internal police report published in German media Thursday characterized Cologne's police as overwhelmed and described how women were forced to run through gantlets of drunken men outside the station.

I read about this! When I went to Europe a few years ago my German boss warned me to stay away from "muslim areas" (and gypsies as well) But what I noticed is Muslim men are always in groups and they really do look intimidating. Pano pa ngayon with the influx of muslims in Germany. It doesn't feel so safe anymore.

January 10th, 2016 03:41 AM #26I would agree with cultural, since it encompasses everything.
Actually, we have quasi "no go zones" here as well, and I mean, NCR. Just ask a PDEA agent or PNP. They know where they are. Sadly, these are Muslim areas as well. Of course, places with armed conflicts not included.
Fact is, Islam is very volatile right now since some clerics are gearing towards domination, openly or in secret. Sadly, their poison transcend borders and can be found in the deep deep blue of the net. Polluting the minds of impressionable Muslims, young or old.

January 10th, 2016 03:52 AM #27Ohhh... this is going to turn very ugly and fast; very interesting to follow as well.
Cologne police are gearing up for a day of highly charged demonstrations, with 1000 far-right protesters expected to hit the streets in response to the mass *** assaults and thefts targeting women on New Year's Eve.

January 10th, 2016 03:59 AM #28Merkel Flashback: Germans “Have to Accept” Migrant Crime Wave
The mass molestation of dozens of German women by Arab and North African men in Cologne and other cities on New Years Eve has served to throw fresh spotlight on comments made by Angela Merkel in 2011 when she said that Germans would “have to accept” the fact that migrants will commit more crimes.
This woman really hates her country!

Ghetto culture should not be confused with culture, per se. What certain members of a particular class do is not always reflective of the values of the society or religion as a whole. Otherwise you could make the argument that Catholics have "rape culture" as well... (hello, Vatican)
Ghetto culture is a very real problem, and it is self-propagating, whether amongst American blacks, Filipino poor, provincial Indians or poor Middle-Easter and African men. The group-reinforced stereotypes are ones that take a long time to stamp out. (Just look at the most progressive of those groups, black Americans... they've spent decades shaking off the angry young black man image, and despite the progress made over the years (better socioeconomic standing, better academic achievement) it still haunts the community as a whole.
There is an opportunity right here to get rid of these malcontents, to allow the other refugees to start over... and to send a message that if you want to stay in Germany, you need to play by German rules.
But the message has to be clearly: "Eff up and you're out" rather than "You're out, period"
The former encourages the men to change. And if they don't, nobody will shed any tears over them. The latter simply provides more recruits for ISIS.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
