To be fair, the guy calling him crazy "didn't want" to run for president, yet has kicked off his campaign.... at midnight, in the middle of Tondo. It takes one to known one, imho.

Six years is not enough. And anyone who is expecting such in six years time is setting himself up to disappointment, Pangilinan told reporters at a forum in Quezon City.

It would take at least 12 to 15 years or even two decades to fully institute reforms in the country.

Binay will only repeat his tactic against Mar [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23], seryoso napakalaki ng chance ni Binay manalo dahil sa masa na binibigyan nya ng relief goods last year palang. Kaya hindi nila dinisqualify si Poe para naman mahati lalo ang vote for Mar na makalapit kay Binay.

Ang hindi ko lang alam kung gaano kalaki population ng VisMin na mukhang in favor kay Duterte.

Is Korina Sanchez working for Department of Agriculture? | Inquirer News

Why was broadcaster and TV personality Korina Sanchez giving out checks and farm equipment during an official event of the Department of Agriculture (DA)?

Peter Laviña, spokesperson of presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, criticized the wife of Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas, who joined DA officials on stage during the distribution of some P611-million worth of agriculture funds and equipment in Tagum City on Saturday.

Sanchez also joined similar DA events in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato and Mexico, Pampanga.

“Is Korina employed by the DA? Why is she the one giving the checks to the farmers?” Laviña asked, adding that if so, her being employed by the DA was “clearly a conflict of interest.”

Personally handing out cash and farm equipment to farmers is also a form of bribery and vote-buying to influence voters to support her husband, he said.

“Korina is now an accomplice in a systematic shameless act that conditions the electorate to accept doles in exchange for votes,” said Laviña.

But Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala said he saw “nothing wrong with (Sanchez distributing cash and implements), because (Roxas) was being endorsed by the national government.”

The DA official added that should Roxas win, he would continue the Aquino administration’s programs for farmers, among them, the construction of more farm-to-market roads, the organic fertilizer program and irrigation projects.

Laviña said Sanchez’s acts showed a pattern of “creative vote-buying,” which local DA officials had questioned.

“These local DA officials could not openly oppose Sanchez’s presence, but they’re questioning it because they’re accountable to the (Commission on Audit) for the allocation (of funds distributed during the DA event,)” he said.

Laviña said the public should be reminded of the DA’s involvement in the pork barrel scam allegedly perpetrated led by Janet Lim-Napoles.

“The DA was also used as a conduit for the kickbacks of Napoles and of some lawmakers. This should not happen again,” the Duterte spokesperson added.

Aquino endorsement will bring additional points to Roxas to overtake rivals—Drilon | Inquirer News

Aquino endorsement will bring additional points to Roxas to overtake rivals—Drilon
By: Maila Ager INQUIRER.net12:17 PM March 7th, 2016

President Benigno Aquino III’s endorsement could bring at least 10 points to former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, enough to overtake his rivals in the upcoming presidential elections in May, Senate President Franklin Drilon said on Monday.

“Alam mo si President Noy (You know President Noy), at this stage of his presidency, has the highest trust rating if you compare to the past five presidents and therefore, we’re confident that his endorsement will bring at least 10 points to Secretary Mar and therefore, would be enough to overcome the other candidates,” Drilon said in an interview at the Senate.

The Senate leader was responding to a reporter’s question about Aquino’s endorsement of Roxas’ presidential bid in a television advertisement. The president appeared on the TV ad with Roxas and the latter’s running mate, Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo.

His statement also came amid the latest survey conducted by The Standard from February 24 to March 1 which showed Senator Grace Poe as the voters’ top choice for president with 26 percent. Poe was closely followed by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte with 24 percent, Vice President Jejomar Binay with 23 percent, Roxas with 22 percent and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago with 2 percent.

However, with a plus or minus 1.8 percent margin of error, the Senate leader pointed out that Duterte, Binay and Roxas are statistical tie in second place.

“So it’s a good starting point, we have two more months to go,” said Drilon, vice chairman of the Liberal Party.

“But what’s important, pagdating ng kampanyahan sa local, marami po sa aming mga kasamahan sa partido e wala pong kalaban at itong matibay naming partido Liberal ang syang tutulong ng husto sa aming kandidato at kami po ay niniwala na itong makinaryang ito at ang pagpapaliwanag na aming ginagawa na mainam na ipagpatuloy ang mga programa sa tuwid na daan, yan po ay magwawagi ang aming kandidato si Mar Roxas pagdating ng halalan.”

(But what’s important is when it comes to local campaign, most of our party members have no rivals and our solid Liberal Party will assist our candidates and we believe that our machinery and explanation that it would be better to continue the “Daang Matuwid” (“Straight Path”) will help our candidate Mar Roxas win in the elections.)

“I am confident na pag nag umpisa na ang local campaign, gagalaw yung aming local machinery (when the local campaign starts, our local machinery will help our candidates),” he further said.

    .
I guess this senator has been on drugs that he never knew that Abnoy has endorsed Mar a long long long time ago yet his stuck at 4th place in any survey. No wonder this country is always in deep **** as it's senators are out of touch from reality.

Dapat sinabi ni Drilon, "Abnoy will endorse Negro" then that might be a game changer.
