    The problem in Mindanao cannot be solved. Even the Spaniards chose to just let them be. In the American occupation, sam thing the commonwealth govt just let them be. I believe even the Japanese imperial army in WW2 didnt even bother to conquer them

    By doing this, we're just empowering them. And magulat ka na lang they have Palawan na.

    Why is Mindanao forever like that, eh wala eh boundary natin yan sa malaysia/indonesia, ganun talaga. Even in eastern europe may mga ganyan problema and Soviets with those of some balkan states near the middle east.

    mindanao is the boundary line, at least nasa land.if we give The whole of Mindanao to them, boundary line will be some visayan islands near mindanao. they would go as far as Luzon if they have to. Kaya etong deal neto, ewan ko, I wish it 's just for show.

    hindi magiging ganap ang kapayapaan jan kung hindi nagkasundo ang MILF at MNLF....at dapat tumulong sila sugpuin ang Abu Sayaf!

    We will never have peace in Mindanao as long as they continue to believe that there is oil there.

    The muslims are just good sniffers of oil around the world.

    Check nyo

    Middle east
    Southeast asia na malaysia/indonesia
    Chechnya in russia
    Nigeria . Somalia in africa.

    The only thing they can't penetrate are the rich oil deposits of north and south america.

    The conflict in Mindanao is incentivized for both sides. War profiteers with the military and the aid money that comes to these "rebels".

    You can drum up peace all you want but if these people never took up arms to begin with, progress and prosperity in Mindanao would be more attainable by now.

    Yes, peace but NEVER through the barrel of a gun. There is no economic policy in place that discriminates against Muslims in this country. My god, do our military and cops harangue the merchants in Quiapo or Greenhills? Do they get kidnapped for ransom? Or targeted in acts of terror?

    This struggle is lopsided. You can't create an idea and substantiate it with firepower. If they surrender their guns, they surrender their power, so then let's validate that ideology in a marketplace of social discussion.

    Nope honestly. Yung neighbor namin hilaw na muslim din so kumakain pork, so hindi fanatic imo. Yung classmates ko naman na muslims fro Elm and HS eh okay naman kami until now but siguro nga dahil hindi ka-trabaho.

    Pero yung sa kabilang purok namin na muslim center dito sa city namin eh kalaban sa basketball. Hindi din patatalo sa pustahan.
