yes, ilan taon na ba siyang mayor ng makati, since '87? to be a mayor of a first class city then hinde nakakapagtaka na umabot ng ganyan karami kotse niya...kahit 5 ferrari pa...buti nga di pa siya lumipat ng forbes park eh...hehehehe

While I was having a candid conversation about corruption, he mentioned that one of the 1st things Binay did when he became mayor of Makati is to require the Ayalas to remitt a certain amount (in the millions) monthly direct to his account or they will have a problem renewing their business permits. I was surprised by the comment but given his position at Ayala before, I didn't doubt it. Guess that's where the money is going.

Yup, also heard that before from a former officemate of mine who used to work with the Ayala Group. Actually, ang pagkasabi niya sa akin, bawat condo na dinedevelop sa Makati, may nakareserve na 1 unit for Negro. Kakuntsaba daw niya yung building official niya dati na tumakbo din for mayor (pero natalo ng asawa ni Nognog).

Na-feature din si Binay tsaka yung daughter niya dun sa defunct tabloid before (forgot the name, it was owned by Eggie Apostol, parang Pinoy Times yata), about their alleged ill-gotten wealth and avarice for material things.
