No one would resist easy money with no risk of persecution.

As if the corruption started in Cory's time.

Corruption was already ingrained in the system before that. I know people who were in the police and military at the time... some of them still serving up till now.

The generals were raking it in under Marcos. And afterwards, that didn't change. That's part of why we had so many coups during Cory's term, as the junior officers were fed up with seeing the same old corrupt faces on top. Napoles was already implicated during the Garcia case, but got off scot-free.

Sure, revisionist historians and loyalists like to say that it was the Cojuangcos that created corruption, but that's pure BS. The only difference between the Marcos era and the era after it is that all the dirty laundry came out in the open.

If PNoy could unravel or push hard for the resolution of this case, then it will be mission mostly accomplished for his term.

But I highly doubt that's possible.

Good luck na lang, Mister President. I hope you sleep with a gun under your pillow...

    BTT

I doubt in our lifetime may remedy dyan... Checken and Egg scenario sucks bigtime don't you think so???

I'm sorry but I don't see na mas pogi marcos era. He started the corruption with loans to back his greed. Marcos time was the time na lumobo utang ng pinas. Did we feel it? No. Nabayaran ba utang? No. Asan na yung inutang? Hmmm... Take a wild guess.
