If thats indeed the case then airstrike is OFF due to proximity of friendlies with the true target of these airstrikes. After all explosion of an ordnance goes in all direction, it doesnt distinguish between friendlies or foes

In a CQB scenario, soldiers are better off making the kill on their own (short firearm, tactical knife or by hand). The best an air asset can do is distract the enemy, make themselves target so that the soldiers on the ground can distinguish where the enemies are holed up

Its more honorable to die in the hands of the enemy than the INCOMPETENCE of your own colleagues

The reason why the FA50 is a waste of money is because its no match againts China's SU30, and againts Malaysias and Indonesias ageing F16s. These aircrafts can shoot down our FA50 even before our FA50 can detect their presence. The purpose of PAF modernisation is to counter outside threats not the Maute group. A lot of PAF gens were pissed off when PNOY decided to get the FA50, its more of a take it or leave it. Its like telling our PAF to bring brand new shining bolo in a gun fight. With all the billions wasted in PDAF and DAP, we could have bought better fighter jets, the least the more advance FA50 version T50.

Here we go again. The purpose of the FA50 is primarily an advanced trainer, secondary lang ang combat capability. Its to prepare our pilots who are used to subsonic aircraft to full-blown MRFs. You don't suddnly drop a driver who learned to drive in a Vios inside an F1 car. If you look at the cockpit of the previous jet of the PAF, the S211 and compare that to an F16 or even the "useless" FA50, you will see how lightyears the latter is ahead, not to mention their capabilities. Now its up to Digong and whoever succeeds him to continue the procurement of more "useful" MRFs.
