this is basically confiscation of private property
if you own a pre-2008 car and na-ban ang pre-2008 vehicles, you're stuck with worthless junk
the market price of your pre-2008 car instantly falls to scrap metal price
the govt wipes out the value of your asset
it's like your car is confiscated by the govt

hinde papaso ito pero kung pumasa man ok lang basta LAHAT, no exemptions pati mga PUVs...
come to think of it. maganda rin itong mag phase out ng old vehicles pero should it be 10, 20 year old cars? dapat phase out na?

ALL THAT REALLY NEEDS TO BE IMPLEMENTED PROPERLY is the motor vehicle inspection during the annual registration of cars in LTO.
If this is done correctly and by the book, only true road worthy cars will be driving around, regardless of the year model.

yung idea na yan e matagal ko nang inaasam...pero yung 2008 and below? ano siya buwang?
bakit di unti untiin, this time, pwede na 85 and below....
then after 3 years 90 and below...
unahin ang mga PUV....
sun and the beach naman oo....

saka yun registration mas luma, mas mahal dapat 10 yr old car double na ang babayarang 20 triple and so on....
