Lozada being tagged as a hero can you guys enlighten me.

Diba sinabi na din ni Jun Lozada na may iregularidad syang mga transaksyon noong nasa gobyerno sya? Eh baket ngayon panay praise sa kanya na sya daw ay hero? Dahil lang ba sya ang star witness sa NBN deal?

Ang bumabagabag sa akin ay, ganito na ba values natin? Kung magnakaw ng isang milyon ok lang pag hundreds of millions or billions hindi na?

Due process ba ang ginagawang pangdinig sa Senado? Baket hindi diretso sa korte ang pangdinig sa kaso na yan?

True but it's not that simple. By telling the truth he is challenging a lot of very powerful people who can very easily have him silenced.

Hindi madali yung ginawa nya lalo na't pamilyado sya. He took a big risk no just on his life but to his family too.

how many here would risk not only
their lives but also their family's
just to tell the truth?

madaling sabihin pero mahirap gawin.
mas madaling tumahimik na lang at
mag-enjoy kung di ka naman apektado.
buti na lang at apektado ang kanyang
konsiyensiya. as far as i know, he wasn't
coerced into doing what he is doing. i
can only hope that it was indeed God
who convicted him to come out into
the open.

If you can't see why he's not being tagged as a hero, then you're just as blind as the others who couldn't care less while Pandak and her minions while they are screwing us.

Inamin naman ni Lozada na may sabit din siya, and it takes courage for someone to admit that. Lahat naman ng kumalaban kay Pandak tsaka kay Fat Bastard, either nakakulong or nabayaran or harassed (by state agents, i.e. BIR, DOJ, NBI, PNP, AFP). After all, who in his right mind would want to challenge the state? May choice ka naman na manahimik na lang and live a peaceful life, yet he chose the road less traveled.

Personally though, I think the "hero" label is overreaching. It's just that in a sea of criminality, decadence and abuse, the public is in search of people they want to label as heroes.

The Office of the Ombudsman is already conducting a parallel investigation; it's just a matter of consolidating the charges, since there are at least 7 filed against the respondents, including FG Mike Arroyo.

Besides, magkaiba yung purpose ng Ombudsman at Senate, with the former reportedly saying that they will be using the latter's findings in pursuing the case, so technically the Senate is free to continue the hearings in aid of legislation.

How can you trust the Ombudsman, when it has only summoned government officials recently? Eh matagal na tong kasong ito. The Ombudsman can investigate cases motu propio (or on its own initiative), pero ngayon lang sila kumikilos!

And remember, the Ombudsman cleared Abalos dun sa Comelec computerization deal. Kaya nga nag-resign si Simeon Marcelo eh. Ask around why re resigned. After the fall of Pandak, maybe he can tell his story.
