i agree na from the get-go sa ateneo na talaga dapat gawin ang thanksgiving activity ng leni-kiko brigade. it's the only protective space the marcoses (nor the dutertes) can't penetrate... and if they forcefully do, they'll be raising holy hell (not withstanding their most recent attempt to disinfect their name via the art gallery brouhaha).

at isa pa, the pasasalamat event is the best time to remind the younger generation of ateneans of how costly it was for those sons and daughters of loyola heights who sacrificed their lives for freedom and democracy during the martial law era. the names edjop, eman lacaba, evelio javier, sonny hizon, ferdie arceo, bill begg, jun celestial, dante perez, ditto sarmiento, lazzie silva, nick solana, and manny yap should never be forgotten in the sacrosanct halls of the blue and the white.
