One thing with Leni, the OVP has been quietly been working behind the scenes helping in the disaster & Covid response, giving aid with a limited budget. We really don’t know the extent of her popularity.
Will those she aided look at those ads or remember her for her help when they needed it most?

Hopefully people will remember. She is the epitome of a genuine public servant, no fuzz, no frill, just getting things done for the people. Unfortunately our political system is a modern day feudal system with these public officials acting like Lords over everyone else.

When Taal erupted, I volunteered in one of the evacuation centers. The OVP came over, checking for what is needed & the next day sent a truckload of goods. Leni wasn’t physically around but her presence was felt.
BBM easily spit out 60M in his protest vs Leni but where was he when Taal erupted? What did he do to help in Covid? & I can say the same thing about the others wanting to be president.

When the whole pandemic started the OVP started mobilizing, distributing PPE's etc. and even offered shuttle/bus services to the HCW/frontliners because public transportation was suspended. Utang na loob, limitado na ang budget but she still manages to exert effort to provide the necessary assistance to those in need and yet she gets bashed and maligned on Socmed by these morons and as well as by Duterte and his old boys club everytime she points out the need to do more. Hirap bang alisin yung mga piring sa mata?

I have this friend in FB na galit Leni.

Tawanan mo pa dapat at mag gloat.

Diba sa basketball, may saying “talo pikon”. That’s how I see their demolition job on Leni. Sagot lagi ni Leni “wala akong panahon dyan. Marami pang trabaho”. No matter what they do, hindi sila pinapansin ni Leni. Nagmumukha lang silang tanga.

got some self test kits sa mailbox kahapon.
the oximeter needed to claim from Watson's -
    all free courtesy of SG/Temasek.

sa Pinas - from OVP's e-konsulta me free oximeter - sa kanya lang yata merong ganyang initiative.

to think na maliit lang budget ng OVP vs IATF and DOH.

MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday said President Rodrigo Duterte’s focus appears to veer towards politics over the ongoing surge in COVID-19 cases after he dedicated his recent public addresses to criticizing senators and even the Commission on Audit (COA).

It was the President himself who wiped the floor with his rival candidates in 2016 when, during a televised debate, he simply declared, “The problem of this country is leadership.” By his boldness, he proclaimed, without having to say it, that he had what it took to provide what he claimed was missing. That was then.
Yesterday was a reminder of what the President’s actual leadership has been proven to be, in this pandemic era. His scheduled morning rant, it was announced, wouldn’t take place. The reason was obvious. The Senate was continuing its hearings into scandalous circumstances surrounding the Department of Health and government procurement of PPE and other materials, frustrated by its inability to find after summoning, individuals such as one of the President’s advisors linked to the whole dubious debacle. When the hearing concluded, the Palace suddenly announced that the President would, after all, go on television later in the day.
