    ^Both engines (hybrid) existing in the engine bay but occupying their own respective space.

    Both engines can generate power to turn the wheels but it will not do so simultaneously, hence the word OR

    All hybrids on the road use both electric and internal combustion motors to power the wheels... at the same time.

    With the Prius' planetary drive, the gasoline motor does not have the gearing or torque to drive the car forward without electric assist... it needs to blend power from both to get the car up to the optimal speed where the gasoline motor can take over.

    Let's see gano katagal itong mga eto

    Kailangan talaga phase-out all old jeeps. Replace with euro 4 diesel units. We need a lasting solution to the problem. Jeeps must not park along the streets waiting for passengers. They can just stop and then go away after a few seconds

    if PUJs simply followed traffic rules, we wouldn't be too hot in getting rid of them, smoke and all.

    In favor ako sa electric jeep..

    Mas better kung gas and electric philippines.....

    I want another gina lopez na magtake over dito....

    di siguro i phase out ang jeep... it's a pinoy icon... kaya, i regulate ng maayos... strict implementation ng mga sasakyan... meron namang lumang diesel pero condition naman... ayusin lang talaga ang sistema.. my suggestion? ibalik ang motto ng bagong lipunan; sa ikakaunlad ng bayan, disiplina ang kailangan..

    isa lang masasabi ko sa mga gusto i-preserve ang jeepney or replace it with something that still resembles a jeepney

    let it go man

    let it go

    ----

    kung i-phase out lahat ng jeepney, kasyang kasya sa kalye ang mga medium size buses (toyota coaster size)

    and only allow well-capitalized companies to operate

    hindi yung kahit sino operator makabili lang ng 1 o 2 o 3 unit magnenegosyo na ng public transport tapos sa gabi gagawin paradahan ang kalye sa residential area

    The operators will push back for sure, but I agree. Public transport should be in the hands of well capitalized entities.

    Yun lang, modern units will come at much higher acquisition and operating cost. I imagine there will be a big push back from commuters as well when the minimum fare will be closer to UV express rates.

    pwede naman eh tignan nyo Uber drivers kahit kaying-kati ibalik ang taci asal di nila magawa kasi 3 years lang car nila tapos may strike out sila sa feedbacks. pwede pala naman pala gawin ng Pilipino

    ang totoong salot ng lipunana mga taong walang accountability tulad ng jeepney, taxi, bus drivers. gustong kumita pero wala man lang kahit anong bahid ng responsibility sa community

    Dapat mala-uber feedback na rin sila. Pag bumagsak ang rating, suspended ng ilang araw

    The Government should take control of the Public Utility vehicles. Similar to first world countries. Competition in the seeking of passengers causes a lot of bottlenecks in the main intersections.
    Let the Government buy these new Jeepneys and hire the PUV drivers as government employee's with Philhealth, SSS, and a fixed salary. Give them a merit/demerit system that forces them to tow the line in following traffic rules and regulations.
    We can never lessen the traffic if the PUV system we have is based on competition from the varous PUV's for passengers.

    Isamang i-phase out pati drayber at operator para may mabago. Kahit pa Euro 4+ kung parehas ang drayber at operator, salot pa din sa kalsada ang mga yan.

    One modern jeep will be P1.2m to P1.6m (ejeep, solar, or euro4 engines). Kakayanin ba ng jeep driver na bayaran ang amount na ito in 7 years?

    Kailangan yata, change driver din. Or attend a driver academy to learn gmrc.

    Hindi na ba pwedng i-upgrade ang mga old jeeps? Engine overhaul, body mod para sa side ang entrance, installation of a/c, etc..
