During WW2, masmadaming namatay sa Soviets (10 million) kesa German (4.3 million) combatants, pero sino nanalo? Yung human wave style ng Chinese ala Soviet during World War 2.

    :D

i don't understand china's style of talking tough. i just read some of china's cautionary warning to its neighbours and they sound like they come from a pre-war era. just talk this way while holding up a fist in a blazing display of bravura "they shall pay for their insolence…', or 'We shall only lay down arms when this band of ruffians has been definitely and most emphatically eliminated' -and you'll most definitely sound like a dictator or al qaeda.

'even if china is covered in graves, all japanese must be exterminated. diaoyu must be reclaimed even if china becomes barren land.'*displayed on an audi banner by a chinese dealer.
'the japanese gov shouldn't place its hope in its so called air and sea advantage...blahblahblah, nowadays, china's defence forces have achieved advances nobody can belittle'
japan replied 'there's no way we would reconsider the transfer, acquisition and possession of their ownership right'
chinese protesters chanted 'stamp japan into the ground. leave japan with nothing. the whole world should boycott japanese people and their products'
chinese minister warned japan to 'pull back from the precipice'
china called for military attack against the philippines 'otherwise they will not awaken'
'we never tolerate any unreasonable embarrassment with blind patience, blahblahblah'
'...the current philippine leadership is intent on pressing us into a corner where there is no other option left but the use of arms'
'anyone's attempt to take away china's sovereignty over the huangyan island will not be allowed by the chinese gov, people and armed forces. if one mistakes kindness for weakness and regards china as a paper dragon as instigated by some onlooker, he is terribly wrong'

it's a vast improvement over senator sotto's speeches but still, don't know but words like these sound so... 'middle kingdom'
