But we cannot under estimate the patriotism and discipline of the japanese whenever their country is at stake.

Note that Japan single-handedly conquered this side of the pacific during ww2
They are less powerful now, but they can be

China never forgot and might have never forgiven Japan for WW2 even when Japan poured in cash, unlike the Philippines. I guess hatred towards the Japs are too deep.

To this day the war is a major point of contention between China and Japan. The war remains a major roadblock for Sino-Japanese relations, and many people, particularly in China, harbour grudges over the war and related issues.

Issues regarding the current historical outlook on the war exist. For example, the Japanese government has been accused of historical revisionism by allowing the approval of a few school textbooks omitting or glossing over Japan's militant past, although the most recent controversial book, the New History Textbook was used by only 0.039% of junior high schools in Japan and[71] and despite the efforts of the Japanese nationalist textbook reformers, by the late 1990s the most common Japanese schoolbooks contained references to, for instance, the Nanking Massacre, Unit 731, and the comfort women of World War II, all historical issues which have faced challenges from ultranationalists in the past.[72] In response to criticism of Japanese textbook revisionism, the PRC government has been accused of using the war to stir up already growing anti-Japanese sentiments in order to spur nationalistic feelings.

our olds always telling us the scary hardships they tasted from the cruel hands of the japs when we're young. kung magkaroon ng fullblown war sa ngayon, wala na siguro tayong mapagtaguan dahil sa mga wmd.
sana di na mag escalate yan at madaan sa mabuting usapan

Yeah, huwag sana. PERO, kung hindi papalag Japan, lalong magiging bully ang China sa Pilipinas. The US must interfere and come to Japan's defense. So that China would think twice about bullying the Philippines

China should be tought a lesson. Pati scarborough shoal gustong kunin.....

Bahag buntot nyang China against japan especially that Japan has mutual defense treaty with US. In fact China brought this issue to UNCLOS. Pero nung tayo ang nag request na pag usapan ang territorial dispute sa UNCLOS ayaw nila.

Let them fire the first shot against Japan.

Hmm no nukes please or we're all dead. I can't side with Japan. They raped our women during the war and killed so many. I can't side with china since they are killing us economically. USA can't do anything because they owe so much. What to do? Let's pray for peace instead.

I agree to an extent but past is past for me. If japan killed so many pinoy soldiers/civilians and raped a lot of pinays 70 years ago, China is killing us economically and bullying us at the PRESENT time.

kalimutan na natin what happened in the past since Japan was bombed 2x naman.Pinagbayaran na nila yun. ang isipin natin, yung present and presently, China is bullying us. and that is what matters.

China should be tought a lesson asap
