i don't really care much about the SALN charge, but i think the third article in w/c he connived with the camp of pandak so as to escape the law will do him in:congrats::congrats::congrats:

OB, medyo flawed naman yata yung good faith argument mo. Me being a non-lawyer, I could probably hide in good faith. But CJ being the chief interpreter of the law, di pwede haka-haka lang. On face value, mukhang wala namang conflict sa FCDU at SALN requirement... except talaga you chose to see or interpret it differently for ulterior motive/s. Kung duda pa rin, as many have said here why not take the moral high ground of choosing the spirit of the law? Kaya ayan, doon sya mukhang bubutasan ni JPE.

yan nga ang mahirap history will be written na we convicted a chief justice on the basis of insufficient evidence and perhaps bias, or siguro political inclinations lang. so on the eyes of the next generation and the world, ano tayo? we're just proving ourselves too as as banana republic and and a banana court. it goes both ways too you know.

ang pinaka-nakakatakot ditong precendent, anybody perhaps even in the private sector, who failed to declare assets even as lowly as a beat down car, diretso na kagad sa summary proceedings. gusto mo ba mangyari yun hassle na yan sa iyo. misdeclaration is equal to guilty.

I guess all crooks can claim "good faith" as a legal defense to let them off the hook.

baka magulat ka e pag maliit pa lalo na nung nakaupo pa GMA. afaik sa govt kanya kanyang "racket" yan. yan ang ginawa ni GMA. yung racket nya di pwede pakiaalaman ng iba. yung racket ng militar kanila lang. yung racket ng judiciary kanila lang. so kung me ibibigay man si GMA kay CJ e malamang pag me sabit ang isa sa interbranch ng govt. so siguro nung nakulong si GMA dun na nagkakabigayan.
