I believe also on trial are those congressmen. We really should think hard on who we entrust those powers this bunch of bungling congressmen currently have.

May 26th, 2012 08:55 AM #3Simple removal from office is the penalty for CJ if he is indeed convicted. Pero lahat ng accrued retirement benefits nya ay mawawala and if he is found to have committed any violations against the Lawyer's Oath, he may ultimately be disbarred from the profession..

tumalab kaya ang trial by publicity ni PNoy and the Senate. How can we really prosecute a guy who lived it all of his life. we are the ones in his backyard. Tsk Tsk. May 26th, 2012 05:35 PM #13you have a very shallow understanding of this historical events like corona. it's not just about the money...it's about the moral thing that corona, gloria, erap and marcos did to this country. marcos stole billions and nobody was jailed...everyone think they can also do it because the marcoses are free and enjoying their lives and their stolen money...the same thing happened to erap and gloria....the cycle goes on and on and it get even worse and worse. you probably enjoy seeing this (public servant making the record lowest of low) happening to your country and to your children (if you have). May 26th, 2012 05:56 PM #17IMO, $2.4M + Php80M vs. Php3.5M declared SALN should be enough to remove Corona from office. It is clearly a sign of deceit and he is hiding something. Kung malinis naman ang pinagkunan ng salapi, he could always defend it and have a clear conscience when he declared it to his SALN. The amount declared is too tiny it is microscopic compared to his huge deposit accounts in his bank.
