Pagkatapos pakialaman ang Philhealth, even worse, this goverment has the guts to sell out goverment hospitals. So saan pa pupunta mga mahihirap kung hindi gamitin ang mga philhealth cards na binigay ng mga politiko at members expense. Mader Packers!

He should be the one explaining why is Philhealth debt filing up? Where is the money of Philhealth? Why it took them 6 months and only after being threatened would they know and react they owe lots of hospital. This idiot is just sitting in the comfort of his office collecting salary & benefits milking the agency. This idiot should be fired.
I'm with you on this one. PhilHealth does not own private hospitals. They have expenses with which to run and maintain facilities and equipment, so the reimbursements really do matter. Ang mahirap pa, the Board and officers of PhilHealth apparently gave themselves fat bonuses while reducing coverage of their members and not paying private hospitals on time.

Sige nga, Mr. Padilla. Put your money where your mouth is and sue. You might be surprised who'll look stupid in court. It won't be private hospitals, though.

Just want to state some facts.

Its been a while na din ang tirade ni Rustico Jimenez vs Philhealth ilan beses na din ako naka attend ng meeting kasama yan.

issue on late claims payment for hospitals.
Philhealth introduced a new payment scheme Case Rate Payment System (CRPS) partially naiba yung sistema in reimbursing claims, it got simplified pero naapektuhan yun internal (sa loob ng philhealth) and external (hospitals coping with with changes in procedures) learning curve on both sides.

Mukhang minadali in a way dahil hindi na beta test yung system na gagamitin in handling CRPS Claims as they process claims dun lumalabas yun bugs and enhancement needed to be able to be more efficient and convenient sa users.

May delayed payments? yes pero bloated masyado figures na nilabas ng PHAP.

Its like this, hindi dahil nag file ng claim si hospital good as paid na yun. May documentary requirements and procedural guidelines to be met para mabayaran. Hindi kinonsider ni PHAP yung returned claims due for compliance, for reconsideration and denied claims ang dating eh lahat ng claims filed sinisingil nila. In short sinuma nila lahat ng unpaid claims regardless kung good or bad claim.

    Can Padilla sue the hospitals?
Yes, hospitals through their accreditation signed an agreement and commitment that they should deduct philhealth benefits. Magdemandahan sila? and they should. Let the rule of law decide on that na.

    Regarding increase in premiums
Matagal na dapat implemented yan and it is by law. To tell you guys locally employed (private and government) ang malaki ang hulog among all member categories. By law 5% ng salary natin ang dapat contribution yet hindi pa din implemented yun.

For employed 200 ang minimum contribution and for those who earn 35k a month 875 ang contribution per month divided through employee and employer and yun na ang maximum na contribution regardless kung 6 digits or 7 digits sahod mo ceiling na yung 875 a month.

    Regarding indigents / sponsored members
PhilHealth is a Social Health Insurance. "Rich pays for the poor" "Strong helps the weak" malaki or maliit man hulog mo pareho ang benepisyo na makukuha mo. Nung umpisa naabuso yang indigent program kasi nga call ito ng LGU stemmed down to barangay levels dyan dumami ang mga political indigents. Nalinis na ngayon database namin dahil we tied-up with DSWD through NHTS sila na mag identify whos who to be indigent. To clear up sa government hospitals lang walang babayaran mga indigent.

Philhealth doesn't offer loan and lumpsum payment ng contribution. But you can be a lifetime member kung retiree ka na and you meet qualified number of contribution. Its a health insurance kaya kung healthy ka hindi mo talaga ma-enjoy ang benepisyo, still who wishes to get sick diba? In due time hopefully ma-introduce na yung preventive benefits like sa HMOs para hindi lang curative ang compensable.

    Nga pala taga PhilHealth ako.

Funny thing lumabas sa internal investigation Mr. Rustico Jimenez even cited a hospital na may alleged backlog payable daw ang PhilHealth to find out na there's no such hospital naman.

Matindi kasi ang tandem ni Rustico Jimenez and Kabayan Noli kaya panay tirada, baseless opinion that pollutes the public mind.

Tinatanong ko nga yung mga kakilala ko sa legal bakit hindi pa idemanda ng kung anong kaso applicable kaso management decision nga daw yun.

Yup by law yun 5% hindi lang implemented ngayon kasi nga madami ang apektado. Kaya as of now may range lang and may cap yung maximum monthly contribution.
