Hanggang meron pa tayong mga kababayan na kumakain
ng "pagpag" at nagbebenta ng sarili nilang ngipin at 20
pesos each just to be able to feed their family, I think
it is downright sinful for our government officials to be
too extravagant especially with the people's money.

Siguro pag narating na natin yung living standards ng
Singapore or kahit na Malaysia, o sige pwede na
mag astang bilyonaryo si GMA and her cohorts.

Para sa mga sosi na hindi alam ang meaning ng "pagpag",
ito yung mga pagkain na tinapon na sa basurahan ng mga
fast-food joints like Jolibee,etc. Some of our poor pick,
them out of the garbage (yung mga Chickenjoy na may
konti pang karne na nakakabit sa buto), re-cook them and
feed them to their children.

bakit ang USA na may air-force one walang mahirap at nagugutom?

and i think gma has the right to decide kung saan iallocate ang pera ng pilipinas, who are we to tell where to allocate the funds of the country. if we are so good, why dont we just replace her, but the mere fact that we cant, tell us something about reality - she is better than most filipinos.

i agree with altis 6453, standard safety measure dapat talaga me plane allocated sa presidente di yong nakikisakay lang.pero kung talagang gusto nilang bumili baka pwedeng sabihan nya muna yong mga alipores nila na magsoli muna ng mga ibinulsa nila.at wag naman sanang kumuha pa ulit sa kaban ng ipambibili nito.tsaka wag naman 2, pwede na isa.

the money that shes spending on is people's tax money to the government. to build roads, infrastructures, schools, street lighting and other things to improve filipino's living standard/environments.

bro, dahil hindi lantaran at garapalan ang corruption dito. mayron paring corrupt na public official kaya lang hindi sila kagaya ng mga officials sa Pilipinas.

naku ayan na naman kayo mga nagtitipid.

kelan nyo ba ma-realize na walang kwenta waldasin ang pera sa taong-bayan na hindi makutento at parati na lang iniisip eh shortchanged sila. wala din kwenta gastusin ang pera sa militar kasi gagamitin lang nila yun mga yun laban sa'tin.

dapat talaga ginagastos natin ang pera para maipagmalaki natin sa buong mundo. parang dubai

its like, aayusin mo yun gate ng bahay mo..gawin sobrang ganda, fully automated, gold plated and full iron works. pero sirang sira mga flooring sa loob ng bahay, ayaw mag flush yun toilets kasi barado, may butas yun roof nyo, walang ilaw yun ibang kwarto at nagbabaha yun garahe mo pag konti ulan.. tama ba yun priority?

those 2 jets and heli wont be inviting any flashy people to the philippines. why not spend a little more in pushing the local tourism? have you seen the tourism ads of PI and compare them to the ones from thailand, hongkong, singapore and malaysia? olats mga ads dito. pwede rin spend a bit more budget on local infrastructures likes roads and highways. spend a bit more in fixing up the local public transportations? those will increase the rating of philippines as a country to invest and live in.

sure, am all for prestige and national pride. pero ayusin muna mga kailangan ayusin bago mag gastos for luxury items.
