February 19th, 2010 04:03 AM #121di mo parin alam kung paano sya yumaman?
naranasan mo na bang maligo sa basura?
naranasan mo na bang matulog sa kalsada?
here's the real reason why Manny Villar became so rich...
a book entitled Credit Derivative Strategies by Rohan Douglas which was released by Bloomberg mentioned Manny Villar in page 30...

then you add the P6B+ C5 at taga...plus...marrying a daughter of a rich businessman...then you get a billioner Manny Villar.Last edited by explorer; February 19th, 2010 at 04:33 AM. Reason: spelling

February 19th, 2010 08:59 AM #124Maybe you are right, Gordon has a better chance of improving our country's condition, but does he have a better chance in winning the presidency? Gordon is the present Roco...I voted the latter in two past elections (1998 and 2004) as I then believed that surveys were rigged by the sponsoring parties...but, it turned out that surveys reflected the outcome of the elections, so if the surveys would remain the same, that is Gordon lags far behind other candidates (Erap and Gibo are even ahead of him), then a vote for Gordon may result to a Villar presidency.
Here is another senario, Erap's candidacy is actually questionable and I believe the Supreme Court will nullify his presidential bid. if that happens, the supporters of Erap (the masa vote) will rally behind Villar, for his money and his "supposed" masa appeal...
Hence, for me, for those who are anti-Villar, the only wise vote is a Noynoy vote...Gordon vote may be an intelligent vote but not a wise vote since, again it benefits Villar...Vote wisely, vote Noynoy...

Mawala lang talaga ang graft and corruption sa Pilipinas,- balanse na ang budget ng gobyerno,- wala nang deficit, baka may gain pa papunta sa ibang projects - hindi katulad ngayon - puro kulang at utang..... For me, that is progress even in a smaller scale,- but a good way to start the new politics in our country.

I heard just this morning one of Manny Villar's radio ad about how he lost his brother due to poverty.
He is disgusting to use his brother's death for his campaign PLUS I don't believe that it is what truly motivated him to be a politician.

he wants the presidency coz there's only so much he can do for himself and his companies as Senator
he has already maxed out the power of his position
there's more power in the executive branch
when he becomes president, he can take himself and his companies to a whole new level
there's no limit to a person's ambition

February 19th, 2010 12:10 PM #130He is a businessman and has remained to be so even during his incumbency as Senator...he is protecting his business interests and pinalawak pa nya using his government position.
with his businessman attitude, then with the expenses he has not incurred due to political ads, the during his presidency, if ever this nightmare happens, babawi-in nya yan with all government projects left and right na sya rin at ang business nya ang makikinabang...
Note Villar now has "blessings" from religious leaders, such as Bro. Mike "Villar"de
Thanks, will research more about it.
