buti naka pagwithdraw na ako kanina.
Actually, bros and sis,- if you know your way around (Alabang/Las Pinas/Paranaque),- then you can minimize your toll....
Iyong nga lang,- baka tamaan ka ng medyo traffic..... And, you have to have a combination of the following: Las Pinas Friendship Route sticker(free); BF Homes Sticker(P700/yr for early birds), and Moonwalk sticker(P500?/year )... Diyan sa may T3 and labas mo papunta ng Makati (at pauwi)...
On a normal commute to work,- our toll is more than P4000 a month. We've been able to reduce this to less than half by going through another route(actually, faster commute) in the afternoon/evening going home....
BTT: Kasawa naman makinig ng radyo at manuod ng TV,- puro kampanya ng mga kandidato.... Pera ng bayan iyan!!!

A "money ban" is stupid as well since most dirty money to be used for vote-buying would not be in the bank anyway.

SC stops liquor ban extension

MANILA, Philippines (2nd UPDATE) - The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday, May 8, issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) stopping the implementation of the liquor ban from May 9 to 11, limiting it only to two days.
SC spokesperson Theodore Te announced the ruling in a press conference, citing a petition filed by liquor companies Food and Beverage Inc., and International Wines and Spirit Association Inc.
The liquor companies said Comelec acted in excess jurisdiction when it issued the resolution ordering the liquor ban.
The petitioners said there is "without question" that Comelec has the authority to promulgate rules and regulations.
"However...Comelec's rule-making power should be exercised in accordance with the prevailing law," the petitioners said.
They added that Comelec violated their right to due process, as did not conduct any hearing before issuing the resolution.
They stressed that the poll body only acted upon the recommendation of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino.
The liquor ban was originally scheduled from May 12 to 13 only, but the Comelec extended it at Tolentino's request. - with reports from Purple Romero/Rappler.com
Vice Ganda's reputation just went up in my book. Not mainly as a result of him boldly taking a shot at Nancy Binay, but more on not being like other celebrities who treat endorsements and appearances in campaign rallies simply as 'trabaho'... or because they have to, since their talent manager is running.

I just find this new SC tro rulings **** up, I understand the money ban, but on alcohol prohibition? I don't know...
Why can't they prioritize and resolve all election related petition and not like this na few days na lang election na.
