The way I see it wala naman choice ang U.P. if the president wants to revoke the agreement.
The University having it's own police is not a right, but a concession by the national government and the local gov't of Quezon City.

There's a clause included in the agreement between the national government and UP that the university will have to strengthen its “security, police and fire-fighting capabilities so as to leave no vacuum that can be exploited by malefactors or criminal elements.”
The fact that we are seeing UP students killed in action as CPP NPA fighters is arguably proof that the UPDP has failed to uphold its responsibilities and is likely going to be the basis of the government for revoking said agreement.

How is it UP's or the UP Police's responsibility if someone gets killed OUTSIDE of the campus? Is it QCPD's or Mayor Belmonte's fault if a resident of QC gets killed in Batangas?

1989 agreement of UP and DND on military and police operations in the UP system by Philippine Collegian - Issuu

Nowhere does it say that one side can unilaterally abrogate it. And nor is there a clause there that the AFP and PNP CANNOT enter a UP campus. They can, so long as they coordinate with the UP administration. They can also come in if its a case of "hot pursuit". What is not allowed is Martial Law-style of arbitrary entry and arrests without probable cause and warrants.

ang hindi naiintindihan ni Du30 saka ng mga alipores at sumasamba sa kanya, ang hanap ng tao sa Sinovac eh transparency, sa price, sa data, efficacy. ngayon ang sabi ni vaccine czar eh nasa 600+ (or less) pesos na lang daw ang Sinovac, eh kung walang nag reklamo at nag ingay, malamang nasa 3k+ pa din presyo nyan. and give people the right to choose, pera nag tao pinang bili dyan at hindi galing sa bulsa nyo.

    i agree.
the citizen is looking for transparency... in the price, and in the vaccine's current performance and side effects.
they want to compare it against the competition's, to see what model suits them better.
treating the citizen like mushrooms (keep them in the dark and pour some "organic matter" over them from time to time) wouldn't cut it anymore.

    my feeling is,
we have become more discriminating, probably partly as a result our experience with denggoyvaxia, and also because of the ease of communications via the internet.
our long quarantine last year enabled many of us to learn to swim in the internet.

That's what happens you elect a simple minded buffoon into national office who had no knowledge of what was going on outside of his little kingdom in Davao. So much for his pledge for a clean government.
