This is the reality. There's outrage right now on Twitter pero hello ilang % lang ng Pilipino nagtitwitter.

The tweets reaching Facebook, narerepost lang within the same echo chambers.

For those already dissatisfied with the admin - they see this as the latest in a string of failures and fragile ego of the President.

For those who are still supportive of the president - they see this as premature campaigning. They don't see it as Leni helping (wtf right but yeah) - they see it as Leni seeking media attention (i.e. "lahat ng galaw kailangan ibroadcast?")

Sala sa init, sala sa lamig. Pag walang nakikitang documentation, sasabihin hindi nagtatrabaho. Pag nagpakita ng documentation, nagpapapansin. Pag ayaw kay Leni, ayaw kay Leni.

Conversely, pag gusto si Duts - pag walang nakikitang documentation, ang sasabihin "hindi kailangan imedia lahat ng tulong, let the system work".

Because the government realizes that while Leni is altruistic with her intent to help Cagayan, it's also a very strategic move politically.

If you flip Cagayan, or even just go 40-60 vs 2016's 10-90 vote split, it will be a big swing. Similar to swinging GA and AZ, previously Red states.

Not saying Leni has already has a strong chance of winning the presidency (long shot pa yan), but the admin recognizes its declining base so all out offensive na (the broadcast last night wasn't even about the status of relief/rebuilding efforts, talagang all out demolition job lang).

Si Duterte mismo ang namumulitika dito, not Leni. He should be thankful that Leni has been doing a lot to help people in need kahit limited lang ang budget ng OVP, pero wala, he just misinterprets even the smallest thing and goes nuts. Iyung mga disipulo niya who still believes in him and thinks Leni is "nagpapakitang tao" are totally beyond repair.

Yes for sure hindi pero hindi kailangan iflip. Kailangan mo lang makakuha ng support dun. Hindi naman tayo electoral college so each vote counts, vs sa US na your vote only counts if swing state ka.

Pero nakakadiri na yun ang iniisip ng admin instead of helping people affected by the storm.

The fact na recorded daw yun? They can edit out the rants (because it will make duterte look bad again) but they won't kasi yun talaga yung message na gusto nilang iparating. Na yung presidente na may 91% approval rating hindi iniendorse si Leni sa 2022.

Also, i don't believe na yung 91% lahat rabid DDS. Meron diyan less informed, nadaan sa propaganda, na pwede pa ma-sway. And they know effective yung recent relief efforts ni Leni na hindi nila matapatan kaya dinaan sa outright demolition job.

Hinde na pwede yun mga sagot na pang beauty contest. Tinanong siya na nauna siya sa Cagayan kesa sa gago. Sagot niya eh hinde naman paligsahan ito mas maganda nga daw na kalat silang lahat par a matulungan lahat. It will not resonate sa mga tanga.

Dapat sinagot niya. Kasi tulog pa yun sira ulo at walang pakialam sa mga nasalanta.

Ganito mindset ng typical Pinoy ngayon na hindi Leni supporter. Feeling nila OA ng mga "pa-woke". Hate na hate nila yung intellectualism ng Twitter crowd kasi nga for them happy naman sila not seeking additional accountability from the govt.



Totoong tao yan hindi troll. Ahente ko from Toyota. And I know many others na ganyan. Typically people outside my Ateneo/UP/DLSU circle (where 99% are unhappy with Duts). Outside my close circle (i.e. mga acquaintances) - mga 70% ayaw din kay Duts pero may 30% pa rin na supportive.

I'm sure in other circles naman, baka 80-90% supportive kay Duts.

What's there to lose for the oppositions?

Mamulitika na sila ngayon pikunin na nila ng pikunin. Kahit basura sabihin nila sa lahat ng interview basta tirahan ng tirahan so duterte. Hinde nila mababago yun mga tanga.
