He basically has the mindset na "I can do whatever I want, whatcha gonna do about it?" , knowing na iilan lang ang pumapalag.

Watch ombudsman Martinez dipping his fingers in the blue ribbon investigation. This is another attempt to block public knowledge of the Pharmally scandal.

This mansion is rising in Ayala Alabang overlooking hole # 4, Alabang Country Club.......a four-storey house along Mango drive. It belongs to Bong Go according to reliable sources but in the name of a certain Michelle Non. Two more mansions are going up in Caliraya and Apitong streets, Ayala Alabang para daw sa siblings ni Bong Go

doctors have health in mind, while economists and businessmen have economy in mind.
government is caught in between, because it is tasked to steering the nation between the rock and the hard place.
the pressure is tremendous on the final decision-maker.
i am only so relieved that i do not have to be that decision-maker nor its spokesman.

i am not apologizing for anyone.
i am merely attempting to understand 'why things happen'.

I have an ag economics background but practiced more of environmental economics (which includes social benefit cost analysis)

Having said that, health and economy doesnt have to be mutually exclusive goals. In fact those two should be overlapping.

Our current leaders do not recognize that -or at least it appears that way.

If only they used our resources properly and opened their narrow minds to other experts, we could have avoided at least the current surge - India was already a warning, right?

I've been watching Designated Survivor lately. One line spoken by the First Lady Kirkman seems apt to describe the presidency and a leader in general, "you will always disappoint someone".

Harry Roque is allegedly in US to personally campaign for a seat in the International Law Commission.

We can signify our objection to the nomination of Mr. Herminio Harry L. Roque, as member to the International Law Commission (ILC) from the Asia-Pacific States - Philippines by signing the letter through this link:

    Just a moment...

    His nomination here:
221 Election of the International Law Commission — Membership — International Law Commission
