What do you think? Are policies against population control beneficial or bad? Does it provide us the moral compass we need? Etc.

As a whole what do you think the Church does for the Philippines as a whole?

The Catholic church has been holding us down for so long. Though with valid points themselves, they just don't know how to move in a real world scenario.

if you consider our church as a unified entity siguro, but I think otherwise. like politics may factions din yan. and yun mga mahilig makialam sa pulitika, yun mga taong galit sa mundo noon kabataan, yun mga nag-pari hahaha

evil works in many ways. like criminals who go for public office, like reds who enroll in the military, meron din demons na pumapasok sa simbahan

well its hard to say, since there are different people working within the church, some members of the clergy are progressive and are responsive to the changing times while others are ultra conservative, sometimes when listening to them it makes you feel like you are still in the 1950's. Like this one time during holloween, the priest was ranting about kids wearing this masks. He goes on to saying that he would be the first one to laugh and he would not help when this kid gets possessed by evil spirits, since this kid's parents tolerated this. I would understand his conservativism if he is an old timer pero he is only around 30ish. Kaya I dread when I go to mass and he is the celebrant, everytime after his sermon, instead of being inspired, i feel depressed.

= GREAT pa rin!

God knows when your good not thru your prayers..but thru your actions diba?

Does the church help us or hold us down?
