reading from the posts, comments, retorts and repartees from people in this thread, there is no paucity of brilliance here and it sounds like we have an asinine for a president, but why duterte is the president and they are not.

if he thinks he is better than God, why the Almighty has allowed him to be the president of this country, and not THE holier-than-thou socrates villegas.

But to ask why God has allowed this means someone doesn't really understand religion and faith - as told by RCC at least - in my view. Don't ask me why or what is my basis, hahaba lang usapan. I am sure I don't want to convince anyone otherwise. Let us leave it at that.
