Sabi nung presidente sa speech nya kanina, barter lang naman daw yung ginawa ng mga chinese Coast guard sa Panatag Shoal. So ok lang yun.

That's coming from the highest position of the land.

I wonder hanggang kailan kaya magtiis ng mga nasa AFP...

^^ Barter daw tapos ang kapalit ilang pack of noodles and yosi na expired na, tapos ang kukunin sa mga pinoy 30Kg of good fish. i wonder if that was from US or Canada, malamang katakot takot na mura na left right up down. Then when du30 is pressed on action in China bigla mag lilitanya na ano gusto ninyo gawin ko sa China, sugurin ko sila ng baril, buong afp, navy, afp padala ko doon. blood bath yun.

ang tanong dapat bakit puro gyera ang nasa isip niya. there are many ways to do it, bakit ang vietnam may protest sila pero they still have China's business, look at malaysia, binenta na din ni Najib sa China but now they are fighting back, but our president parang walang b**ag pag China na usapan, it only show that he is clear a lapdog of emperor Xi. sad but true.... papabagsakin ang ekonomiya tapos will ask China for help, ni wala nga atang investment/fdi coming from China. foreign direct shipment to davao meron naka military plane pa para safe na safe, govt to govt delivery of ukay to polong.

Typical small-town mayor talk. It happened during the debates, when he asked Poe what she would do when Chinese warships show up at the front door, she belittled her response (w/c if you analyzed thoroughly was correct and logical). When the tables were turned, and the fishermen asked Digong, he gave a macho but totally absurd answer of jetskiing to the WPS. And we now know how that turned out.

Oh well, as one tsikoteer put it, di bale, huwag lang LP at dilawan.

i'm not sure in what universe 2 packs of instant noodles or two packs of cigarettes, would equal to 15 kilos of fish...and not we're not talking about trash fish by the way.

Also, in the event that Hell freezes over tomorrow, and suddenly the "barter" mentioned above is considered fair(it is not), recall that it was not acceptable to the fishermen. That's the kind of "barter" the mafia offers, ones that you cannot refuse. And now we're even making excuses for them.

Good luck na lang selling that "barter" nonsense.

i cam across a Financial Times article about Bulid Build Build/Jobs Jobs Jobs. It said that the bigger projects financed by Chinese loans will most likely hire Chinese workers.

Feasible nga ba that they import their own workers vs. hiring locals?

Depending on your location, but haven't we all noticed the influx of FOB Chinese in the country?

One example, along Malugay near B-side and near the police station, sobrang daming Chinese everytime i pass in that area. Anong ginagawa nila dito? They do not look like tourists. Do they have work permit and/or even pay taxes? I doubt.

Ganun talaga mga Chinese financed projects all over the world. Not only workers but also construction materials. Win-win for them since the money loaned goes back to their economy, and we have to pay them interest for that.

^ What i refer to as the SM strategy...or baka nga kay China natutunan yung ganyang diskarte.

They'll probably reason out that there is a labor shortage in construction to justify the importation of Chinese labor, and i would expect those building materials to enter PH tax-reduced or even tax-free...so the equation Build Bulid Build = Jobs Jobs Jobs doesn't really hold true.

Almost same with the Korean financed projects, but i prefer Korean materials pagdating sa quality.

Meaning, instead of declaring a war ... example, maybe provide better livelihoods program for the fisherman sponsored by chinese goverment as a result sa ginawa nila... or bigyan ng mas modern na pang fishing ... basta something positive...

    hoping lang naman...

Better yet, give them a livelihood by teaching them how to make noodles since china is known for it... so if walang kita sa dagat, they can have other means of making money kasama pa nila ang family... a good deal right? Sana isama yan sa protest as demand sa damages na ginawa nila sa fisherman dun...
