Like the OP, I've never seen supporters of other candidates been this rabid and downright bastos.

Also, as I was typing this, I saw on the news the ff exchange:

Digong: eh yang si Mar bayot yan eh. Di niya kaya. Ako kaya ko, lalaki ako eh. Di ako takot pumatay at mamatay. Subukan nila ko.

Mar: Hanggang diyan nalang ba talaga Digong? Paninira at name-calling?

So far I haven't seen how exactly Duterte will execute his plan to eradicate crime and corruption. All supporters just say, "basta, kaya ni Digong yan. Nagawa niya sa Davao eh". The very same Davao that leads the country in counts of corruption.

I honestly want to have a proper discussion with a Duterte supporter.

It seems Cayetano also lost his mind. Maybe the lady Cayetano would be more reasonable, she's an advocate of women's and children's rights. I wonder what are her thoughts in supporting Duterte.

Duterte camp: No need for martial law to stop crime
    By: Nestor Corrales
    INQUIRER.net 06:32 PM April 7th, 2016

There is no need for Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to declare martial law, should he become president, to fulfill his vow to stop crime and illegal drugs in the Philippines, his camp said on Thursday.

“We beg to disagree with Sen. Enrile. There is no need for Duterte to declare martial law. He needs only to enforce the law, the enforcement agencies to do their jobs, the judicial and penal system to work, and the community to cooperate,” Peter Lavina, Duterte’s spokesman, said in a statement.

Lavina said getting rid of drugs, crime, and corruption would require everyone’s cooperation.

“Duterte’s political will is the leading catalyst in this collective societal task. He will not, of course, succeed if we have a defeatist attitude and set up roadblocks on the way for genuine change,” he said.

On Thursday, Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile said that Duterte would need to declare martial law to bust crime and illegal drugs within the first six months in office if elected in the May elections

I think Duterte is the most charismatic among all the presidential candidates.

Of course one shouldn't vote based on charisma.

That's the problem. Too many people eschew all other considerations once they are captivated by charisma.

Ibang klase talaga yung rabidness ng fans ni Duterte. For every 1 Duterte supporter I encounter on social media that has a sound justification for voting for him, there are 9 others that are very mob-like.

Let's not forget, ABNOY was elected base on "Namatayan lamang" or Pakikiramay. Nothing more nothing less. No Charisma , No Brains as well.

He was in our area last Friday. And my lawyer neighbor from San Beda was cursing him to high heavens for causing a monstrous traffic. The six lane Aguilar Ave was overflowing with people. It was good that we went home early... Now will that translate to vote?
