    JUST IN

NEDA secretary Ernesto Pernia admits China's interest rate of 3% is much higher than Japan's 0.25%-0.75%, in talk in front of businessmen and economists this afternoon.

Asked why the government is availing more of China's expensive loans than Japan's cheaper offer Pernia could only reply "Because we need more friends".
Found a different answer from a news source...

However, Pernia admitted that when it comes to lending costs, Chinese soft loans are more expensive at 2-3 percent rate, while Japanese loans only have a rate of 0.25-0.75 percent.

“The thing about Japanese loans is that our partnership with Japan is a longstanding partnership and we’ve had good relations with Japan,” Pernia said in a forum organized by Makati Business Club.

“The only problem we’ve had with Japan is the slowness in the processing of their project,” he added.

“But because of the aggressiveness of China, Japan has also come forward to say that we will be faster this time [and] we don’t want to be left behind by this speed in which China is moving.”

that alone can win wars if they wish too. but the US is never about winning wars, it's about objectives. They left Vietnam, the world said they lost from VietCong, then how come Vietnam right now is becoming a democratic country with so many fastfood joints from the US. They say the US Lost in the Korean War, no they didn', South Korean is within striking distance not to Nokor but to China. Think, do Russia and China have bases in South America, no, diba. There are no foreign superpower within striking distance to the US Mainland. The Cuban missile crisis and Kennedy-era made sure of that. IF China take out South Korea, they still have Japan. Japan is a fearsome fighting force, proven na yan in World War 2, when they drove off the British as well as almost annihilated the Chinese noon. eh kaya lang, sa tinde ng US weaponry na hawak ng South Korea ngaun, baka hinde na umabot pa sa Japan ang gyera. and have you seen Okinawa base, the US fleet there is so big, alam ko yan ang concern talaga ng China and Nokor.

They say the US lost Iraq, so what happened when the US Military moved out of Iraq, ISIS happened. so many faction in the middle east sniping US servicemen. here's ISIS, hindi mo malaman kung ano pinaglalaban but they almost swept the entire middle east, scorch earth style. so you think some middle easterners are wishing now that the US go back there, I certainly think so.

so I doubt if the US is tired, they are good tacticians. simple objectives, less effort and yet they are the most powerful. dont believe the news, still it's another sun tzu. American neither deny or admit that they are weak nor strong. Dyan ka dapat lalo mag-ingat. Unpredictable ika nga.

myPres is never against the US. compatible nga sila ni Trump eh. The Americans who are against PUD30 are the same liberal Americans who hate Pres. Donald Trump. are they the Republicans? I dont really know coz even some Democrats hate Trump's instincts. may faction na sa US, sooner or later these liberals will be shut off, are these American liberals the same ideology as our own LP or Liberal Party run by the yellow. I think so.

kaya nga eto mga debate nyo dito, ayaw ko na makisalo. it's just useless talking about this everyday. I only here for you uls, coz i will always help an embattled friend hihi

China's loans were designed exactly to be unpayable

the money will never leave China's financial system in the first place

Chinese companies will build the infrastructure projects with mostly Chinese labor, materials, and equipment

they'll get paid thru their banks in the mainland

the financial benefit to the Phils. is negligible

Yet still no alarm bells ringing... oh wait, ok lang pala, basta hindi na taga-Maynila/Luzon ang nasa Malacanan at walang LP.

    kaya ni-rush yung TRAIN law

coz the Phil. govt will need additional income to service China's loans

but of course everybody here already knows that won't be enough (right?)

naka sangla din ang natural resources ng Pinas (alam niyo na din yun)

nobody is admitting publicly but US Phil ties have weakened considerably ever since the Phils. kicked out the Americans from Subic and Clark

lagi sinasabi "ties are stronger than ever"

Ties are even weaker now since du30's pivot to China

to get the US to support the Phils. against China will require proof of Phil. loyalty to the US

    malabo yan under du30

so the US isn't coming to our help

But if it is in the interest of the US to "help" us, they will come, right?

Di naman sila papayag na China will be the dominant power in SEA, na ganun ganun na lang.

    US pa.

    Eh tuso din yan.

pero pustahan wala kahit isang taga tsikot pupunta sa edsa

("ang init eh, trapik pa... and it's grocery day, laundry day, at ipapa-carwash ako lahat ng cars ko")
